This is a genuine product. It works perfectly in india. All indian apps r available. Connected seamlessly to my google account & wifi. The experience is amazing. Fire stick 4k max stands nowhere in comparison in speed & software user experience.

I bought this amazing piece of tech to pair it with my Hisense U7N which comes with VIDAA OS. The primary reason to buy this is because it is Android and the freedom that comes with it. I customized it to the core and since it is from Google you will only get the latest updates first.Pros:-Customization and freedom of Android-Latest updates directly from google-It will work as expected unlike other TV boxes/dongles-The remote is nice and small-Customizable button to launch any app or change inputs for the TVCons:-The SOC is old (Manufactured in 2021)-No warranty in India-You will see ads everywhere, make sure to change the launcherAreas of Improvement:-In rare cases you may see a black screen between cuts of any local media if it is 4K Dolby Vision H265, you will not see the same issue with streaming apps. (The workaround is to use Vimu player and disable Dolby Vision to watch the local content in HDR 12bit)-Alternate Android updates (A12 to 14 to upcoming 16) which isn't really an issue because the security patches will take care of vulnerabilities-Needs a USB Type-C Hub for connecting USB devices to the streamer (This won't be an issue if you use SMB/FTP from your PC or run a local server on your network)-We can't personalize the screensaver-Not value for money since Indian users will consider TVs with Android pre installed and Google doesn't manufacture the device here.This should only be considered as a necessity when your smart TV doesn't come with Android pre installed and you have extra cash available to spend. I'd recommend waiting for the next NVIDIA Sheild which will support latest features at the time and also future proof itself for another decade with its performance.I don't have much to say about the connectivity side since I use Ethernet and Bluetooth works as expected.People complaining about the US plug should know that this item is imported and Google doesn't make the brick for the Indian market.

I purchased this Google streamer 4k device. As product is not officialy launched in india. It is imported one from usa. But its working fine in India. All Indian apps like sony liv , jio hotstar, working fine. I using with LG 4K Tv. In which there is Web Os. So purchased this for Android tv . Its interface is smooth and fast. In box you get america standard power device. But i am using my xiaomi charger with device its working fine. Overall its great product. 5 star. If you want google tv (android). For LG device its working fine .you can purchase it.
