Ranger Fishin' Buddy

I bought two of these boats and both had the same problem. Boat powered up and ran but worried about losing them the whole time. In fact boat had to be rescued twice. Very disappointing - not enough power and both props don't run at the same power level so it's hard to steer.

This is a very fun toy and you can use it to fish! The little gaff that comes with it makes it perfect for capturing a nice bass!

I was so excited to find this for my son for Christmas at a price around $50. He had one for a couple of years but wore it out. He would take it to lake and catch small fish on it. About a month after Christmas he got out the new one to try it. Unfortunately it did not work. I contacted the seller but they said it must be returned within 30 days. I only had a day or 2 left and I did not have time to get it shipped. I also did not want to pay to ship this thing. I contacted Aviva Sports directly and the customer rep tried to find me a new battery but it was discontinued so she couldn't do anything for me.

I got two of these because they were on sale and I was going to go stay on a house boat at Lake Powell. I tried fishing with them and I even got a bight when I put salmon eggs at the end of the hook. The problem was that when the fish bit the bait it just pulled on the floater and broke the line. I ended up just giving them to my nephews. They were not very fast so they were not fun to race. I wish I would have just bought one boat for the price of these two and got one that was faster. i don't think they are really worth fishing with.

I pruchased two of these just for fun, and that's pretty much what they are. I laughed like hell watching my wife catch her first fish with one of these boats. looked like the remake of jaws. but their fun if you have a small pond or lake. wouldn't recommend using them in a river or stream; not a lot of power in them to fight a current.

Bought this for my Nephew. He loves it! He drives it all around the local lake, and he has not tired of it yet. Great deal, Great product!

So ordered product for a lake side vacation, tried the product and it was DOA, customer service from WOOT was very good and sent me a new one out but the vacation was over by then. Today I finally tried the new unit and once again DOA. Must be a quality problem at the factory. Crap shoot if you buy this but Woot did what they could.
