This is the original five part miniseries that started it all for GI Joe the cartoon. I remember watching this the entire week back in 1983 on channel 5 in Washington DC right after school. The toy and comic book came out the previous year so here comes the cartoon and it did not disappoint. It has plenty of action and it has all the original action figures in the GI Joe toy line. It's kind of funny because this is pretty much the only cartoon that shows snake eyes as a commando a lot of people remember him later as a ninja type of character. You can also get the miniseries in the box sets of GI Joe but if you want the original movie type mini series then this is the one to buy it will not disappoint you.
