Received package as promised.Easy to install. In my case, electrical plug prewired to wall switch. Just bent up tabs to hold fan in place. Then plugged it in.As delivered this fan is not quiet. I would compare it to a ceiling fan on fastest speed.We replaced wall switch with a Lutron Diva fan controller. On low speed very quiet now.In my opinion, the extra dollars for this fan over others is worth it. Seller seems first class.However, I have no way of knowing if the actual fan is any different than the ones at half the price.

Very pleased with the unit, improves the speed at which the family room is warmed. Some observations:- While the installation is pretty straight forward it’s tricky with existing pipework in the way. There are a few youtube videos that guide you through the installation which I recommend watching if you have never installed one before.- I recommend cleaning the housing to ensure that the Velcro pads stick. The lugs in the aluminum housing are tricky to bend over as the existing pipework gets in the way- The fan isn’t as noisy as I expected but it can be heard. Based on another review I installed an inline dimmer so that I can adjust fan speed and thus noise levels.

The fan works as expected. Easy to install. Moves enough air to heat up the room. It's a fan, it makes noise, but not at a level that is unacceptable.

Worked as promised. Installation was simpler than expected. I can't believe folks charge up to $300 to install this even though my fireplace was already wired for it. Only blip is that it's a bit louder than expected. Other than that, it works nicely.

Product arrived a day earlier than stated. I built a new home and did not think about a blower for my gas Lennox/Superior fireplace. I went online and found the blower at the sellers website. Since I had an Amazon account I ordered it here since my experience with Amazon has always been excellent. The blower kit arrived. I already had the wall switch so all I had to do is install it, plug it in the already installed socket underneath the fireplace and turned it on. The video on the sellers website on installation is great if you need additional help. Very clear to understand. The fan has one speed which is high. I don't have an issue with that because I have a large home and want to distribute the heat. The fan is not as loud as some have described. I do not feel that the blower kit is as noisy as some have stated. Once installed I immediately noticed a huge difference in the room temperature with the blower kit versus not having it installed. I highly recommend this blower kit. Lennox/Superior owners manual had this exact part number FBK-100 in the book. That is how I found the part number and then went online and found it.

Our house has a Superior DR-500 and had an outlet with switch installed but no fan. Without the fan it had worked okay when the power went out in the cold or when we experienced HVAC problems but it only radiates so much heat. I had wanted a fan installed and had looked years ago and didn’t realize how simple this would be to do. After ordering and it delivering super fast I went to install and ran into one snag… the stone hearth was above grade making the door not hinge down all the way which in return did not allow the unit to fit. My solution was to just disassemble the door which was quick and easy. After that it slid right in sideways and flipped around to the proper orientation and I was able to get in and remove the backing for the Velcro and align with the tabs and press back to adhere. From there a quick bend of the tabs and routing of the cord to the outlet and we were done. Nervously I flipped the switch and it worked! Now it’s blowing warm air and has us ready to connect to my solar generator if the power does go out,

We were very happy to be able to order this fireplace blower kit. It is much cheaper on Amazon rather than ordering it through any other company that I checked with. It was easy to install ourselves and really puts out a lot of heat!
