8" Damascus Etch Cleaver Razor Blade Spring Assisted Pocket Knife - PBK205DS

I wanted to add a cleaver style knife to my EDC knives and wasn't interested in dropping lots of money on one. This knife stood out in my Amazon search. Not only was it nice looking but the price was right as well.They say first impressions are everything and this knife nailed it. It's a little heavier than most of my EDC knives but nothing I was really concerned with. Blade was nice and sharp right out of the box. It easily handled it's first task of breaking down a bunch of cardboard boxes with little effort.I am a lefty and a pretty hardcore one at that. I do nothing right handed and when I try, it's an epic fail. This means I carry my knife on the left side of my body. This also means that the blade faces into my pocket. Unlike if carried right side, the handle faces into pocket. This has been an issue with other knives with them opening while in my pocket during the day. The curve of the handle allows it to sit further back in my pocket and actually give more space in my pocket than some other knives I carry. I've also noticed that with the belt clip, it's the lowest sitting knife in my collection and that's another big plus to me.If you're looking for a petite knife, this one isn't for you. If you're looking for a nice, solid feeling knife, take this one for a test drive. This one has become one of favorites to carry.

This knife is cool looking and the blade is sharp. I carry a knife every day, usually two and use them daily. First thing I notice is the pocket clip is on the wrong way. You have to pull the knife out and flip it around in your hand prior to opening it, then fumble it around to put it back in your pocket. Dumb. Only two weeks before one of the screws holding the decorative wood side came out. Also the grip of the knife only has the wood and etching on one side, not both. It won’t hold up. Next time I will spend the money for another spring assist smith n Wesson

I was looking for a cleaver style folder for my everyday carry. I saw this knife and feel in love. It feel heavy in the hand, like it has real strength. It opens cleanly with a little assist. It is sharp. But really, I love this knife because it is beautiful. The shape, the "Damascus" blade, the wood. It is just a really good looking knife. You get what you pay for and a little more for the price. I carry it all the time. If I lost it, I would replace it. 'Nuff said.

Have had this knife for a few years now. Still my go to knife. Very durable, ive put it through some beatings. And its still holding strong. Would buy again.

it is perfect, its just like everyone said its heavy, gotta have some strength to push it open, so gotta be very careful or you slice your hand open, it feels like a pound or more, it came fast too, the amazon guy almost past my house but thats ok its common around here, ouch this knife is no joke I just sliced a paper towel and a cigar coupon paper clean cut

I like the knife, the demascus is laser etched, making it raised which is the only thing I didn’t like. Sharp edge, good steel, i just prefer drop point

I open and break down a lot of boxes. To be honest a box cutter is probably more conventional but this is more fun. It came sharp enough and has good weight. Not much of a one handed opener though.
