antiskate test
After looking into antiskate a bit online and truly understanding that maufacturors are almost ALWAYS wrong for what they put i decided to pick up the blank LP like I had seen in YT videos.I have an fluance rt85 and i can tell you they recommend an antiskate of 1.8 and i had to crank mine to 3+. If you have a high end table and want to reduce wear and tear long term on the motor or styli(is that right? more than one stylus? XD) then id recommend grabbing this.

The only correct way to set anti-skating force
Ok, you might ask why would you buy a BLANK Vinyl record? Well, in short, it is the only truly accurate way to set the anti-skating force on your high-quality turntable. Yes we have calibrated dials, but those are compromises at best. You use it by putting the record on the turntable, start it up, and put the needle on the blank vinyl in the middle. Typically the needle will then drift either inward toward the label, or outward toward the edge. Adjust the anti-skating up and down until the needle rests where you put it and does not drift. This setting is dependent on the tracking force, and the type of needle and cartridge. If you change any of these, then you need to reset the anti-skating force.

Getting it right.
It works from what I can tell, I'm glad I bought it because for what it does for your anti skate is helps you dial in the anti skate and according to this I was two numbers off the anti skate settings on my turntable. I am hearing better sounds from my record's I believe needle is riding in the center of the record groves now with the new settings. It's a little pricy and no instructions will only get 4 stars from me, glad someone else in the reviews knew. But if you're needles are riding to one side or the other of you're record's groves and not in the center your missing out on some great music. Hope the company reads these and stats putting instructions in the package.

This blank album was the perfect solution to my problem
Setting anti-skating is hit and miss . There is absolutely no way to know if you have it right . You can use the indicator with your turntable if you have one. But you do not know for sure if it is right .I have the Marantz TT 15. There is no indicator. It has a magnetic adjustment . This blank album was the perfect solution to my problem . My tonearm rides the center of the album perfectly now. No pulling inward no pulling outward. Now I know the wear is even on both sides of the stylus and groove .Wonderful tool ...

A definite must have
After setting my anti skate to the recommended spec, I used this to perfectly dial it in. Only took a few seconds. There is something to be said for having the right tool for the job.

Turntable setup a must have.
Discover just how inaccurate your factory anti-skate is. A must for decent turntable/cartridge setup and calibration.Minor concern is the provided paper slip jacket it comes in, which creates static that attracts dust readily to the bare surfaces. Get a decent non static inner slip jacket and spare album cover when stored. Zap it with a Zerostat gun.Recommended.

Spot On Adjustment
Received blank disc (black) and sits perfectly flat on my turntable. It is such a great tool for setting anti-skate on all turntables with that feature. Most turntable anti-skate adjustments are hit and miss at best, but with this disc you can set it spot on. This is a must for anyone who wants their turntable to operate as close to specifications as possible. A how to adjust anti-skate video is available on U-tube using this blank disc and is quite simple to do. Highly recommended as this product performs as it was designed to do......
