Retirement Timer up to 999 Days, Countdown and Alarm by Cirbic (Retirement)

I ordered this because I am planning on retiring at the end of the year. I wanted a countdown timer so when I get stressed at work I can look at the days and take a deep breath and move on. This was a little smaller than I expected, but it is not bad. I have it on my desk and it is really easy to see.

It’s smaller than I expected but I actually like that now. It sits on a shelf next to me in my office and I am always ready to give others the days, hours, minutes and seconds until I am out of there, lol. It was very easy to set up, less then 2 minutes. It will be a fun little gift for someone who is a year or two away from retirement.

I bought this for my husband. He announces daily how many days are left until retirement. This cute little retirement countdown is perfect. I put a couple small magnets on the back and put it in our refrigerator. It’s actually pretty small but it’s the perfect size for the frig.

This clock is crazy small. Definitely not worth the price. I have owned this for a few months, it sat on my bookshelf. Now I need to change the days but the buttons on the back are not changing the numbers on the front. Looks and feels like a Dollar Store item .. not worth the money.

This is our second purchase of a retirement countdown clock. (Given as a gift.) This one was easier to set and is very attractive, BUT you have to calculate the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds until retirement yourself when setting up. With the other clock, we set the current date & time, input the retirement date & time, and it did the calculating for me. Not a huge issue but not what I expected. Had I known, I probably would've chosen another one.

It was really easy to set. However you have to know how many days you’re setting it for, you don’t enter a date and it’s starts counting down, you have to google how many days are between the present date and the day you want it to be counting down to.

Gave this to my girlfriend the last week she was working - she put it on her desk and got a lot of compliments and laughs about the timer. Great gag gift for a retiree. Keep in mind it isn't very big. I told her she needs to pass it on to the next person that is retiring. You can shut off the timer or reset it as well.
