Good device, shoddy charger.
This is a good and useful device. The light allows veins to visualized (for whatever purpose). It works especially well on veins in the arms. The light is of variable brightness allowing some optimization. As a vein finder it works a treat. My problem is with the charger. It charges through a cable that plugs into a USB-A socket at the power source and into a proprietary socket on the unit. The cable is fine (though why not use the now ubiquitous USB-C at the device end so there is no trouble if charging cable is lost?) but the mains adaptor supplied with it is frighteningly bad. The main unit is a 2 pin european plug, which then plugs into a two to three pin adaptor which has been thrown in as an afterthought for the UK market. This adaptor is cheap and nasty in the extreme, and mine came with a crack in the cover rendering it electrically unsafe. I haven't used it. It beats me why anyone went to the trouble - the USB-A cable is perfectly fine and most people will have access to a USBA outlet without the need for a mains adaptor to be included. A great product let down by this detail. 4 stars. I toyed with 3, but it is actually pretty good if you ignore the dodgy plug.

Well made, LED lights
The vein finder is a nifty little device. Made from high-quality material, it is sturdy and well-made. It works flawlessly and helps locate veins easily. In addition, it is lightweight and easy to carry. The LED light is quite powerful and comes with adjustable brightness. I will happily recommend it.

Not bad
Not bad. It has 2 different lights with adjustable brightness to help visualise vessels better, and only one, or both lights can be used simultaneously as required.Works 2 ways, by casting the perfect shadow against bulging veins making them more obvious, and highlighting deeper veins.A main tip for noting deeper veins is to press this firmly against the skin.The space between The probe makes it possible to leave the light in place while gaining access with the needle. Not bad at all
