These jeans fit pretty much true to size (I wear 34 x 34) so based on the chart I ordered XL. They fit perfectly around the waist and were just the right length. I really liked the 90% cotton with 10% spandex so it didn't bind and stretched some when I got my groove on out on the dance floor. They feel like other jeans I have fabric weight wise. The only knock I have against them is that they can NOT be washed in the washing machine. These must be hand wash in the sink in order for the fabric not to shrink or stitching not to go bad, at least from what I could tell, so they must not be very durable. The instructions that came with the jeans said they are hand- wash only. Other than that, I got a lot of compliments on how cool they looked and I was even asked if I found them at a thrift store since they looked just like they were made in the late 60's or early 70's.

I purchased for a 70's themed party. The pants are nice and fit in the waist, however, my husband is 6'1" and wears a 38"x34". They were 2" to short.

These run small, we went a size up. The flare (bell bottom) is a medium size flare. Not as large as shown.

I am 6'3" 220, good quality. like how they look and feel plus length was decent but the legs are like skinny jeans. If you have any leg muscles they will be too tight. Might try a a XXL.
