Probably not worth the money
Only buy if you have really flat nail beds, otherwise you will have massive gaps towards the tip of the nail. My natural nails have a slight curve to them and I had to use an enormous amount of glue to fill the gaps, which was a long and painstaking process. Not to mention, as I’m writing this, the glue it recommends using is not on Amazon or the beetles website. The tips themselves are thick and good quality. I’ve heard some say that they are really bulky, but if you are used to acrylics then I don’t think it’s too bad.

Very hard to use and way too bulky
Too curved they don’t sit on the nail well without leaving gaps even with a gel. They look too bulky and look like claws. Not good value for money as we’re very expensive. They are too thick and it’s so hard to get the right size for nail.

Not for me
Unfortunately I didn’t love these, they were ridiculously thick in my opinion and most of them barely fit the curve of my nail although I probably should have tried them with a gel adhesive but the resulting thickness of my nail would have been silly. I did like the length and the almond shape but I never wore them.

Wouldn't recommend
Awful wouldnt recommend. They dont adhere well and not easy to apply due to the apex. Shame as these could have been amazing

Not great
Awful tips imo. The apex is overly thick and chunky looking for the length. They didn't sit well on the nail bed either for me. Really disappointed as the concept is great.

I’ve been DIYing my nails for like 6 or 7 years now and so far, these have solved almost every complaint I’ve ever had with other nail systems. I was a loyal Gel X user for about half of that time, but after one use these have outpaced that (significantly more expensive!) system. I used these with the Beetles gel glue and after only ~15 seconds in the lamp they were ON there and I couldn’t reposition or remove them if I wanted to - the adhesion was instantly just that good. I love that these are pre-etched so I was able to save a ton of time and effort by skipping that step and so far have not had any issues with the tips not adhering well to the gel (I frequently had that issue with my gel x tips, even after etching, generous use of primer, and generally meticulous, time consuming prep). I also love the sturdiness of these tips, they are extremely strong feeling and the apex is very high. I prefer the rigidity of these tips to the flexibility of a soft gel tip like gel x and I feel these will last better against the abuse I put my nails through. I like the look of a high apex but these are almost too thick of an apex even for me so keep that in consideration if you’re someone who likes a more natural, flush look to your extensions. With the thickness of the apex, these tips are also very flat inside, so if you have a very deep c curve or downturned nails, these will likely not fit you very well. My nails are kind of in the in between area of the spectrum of nail flatness and they fit, but I did have to use a little more gel glue than I was expecting to fill in some gaps. Because of the relative flatness of the inside of these tips compared to my nails’ slight curve from cuticle to free edge, they did end up angled upward more than I generally would prefer because that angle was required to maintain contact by the cuticle area. That said, I still found these easier to work with than gel x in terms of the quantity of gel required, and found that the fact that the rigidity of these tips won’t let you accidentally squish or twist the nail and the wet gel into a weird shape while curing made it easier to control. Update - I have now bought a few other shapes of these and I am still obsessed with them. They last the absolute best of all of the nail products I’ve had sets with (polygel, acrylic, hard gel, and soft gel tips/gel X). My magic combo is apres primer, modelones gel base, and beetles gel glue and this allows them to stay for weeks with no lifting.

I like them. They stay on strong and the shape is basically what I get at the nail salons. I am only sad that I can only use 5 of the 16 sizes that's offered. Wish I could just get the 5 sizes I need. My thumbs and middle finger nails are the same size, and my pointer finger and ring fingers are the same size. My pinkies are two different sizes. I will run out of my size fast :(

These nails are extremely durable but also a little thick after painting, thru do have the very high apex as described. I like them but they are a little to thick :) it's not a bad thing but not good either, chunk nails like it's 2010 lo l

I have waited to leave a review. I currently have on my third set of these. I've been wearing acrylic nails for 30 years. I've always had them done, but I can also do them myself and have played beauty parlor many of times. I've always had the hardest problem with shaping of the nail. And so I've spent so much time when I've done them myself filing to get the shape right. So of course, this product is fantastic in the fact that it is already shaped perfectly no need for filing anything to get the shape. Beyond that this whole system of nail, glue, UV light is perfect. I have worn each of the sets for a solid two weeks before I take them off. I've been using a little glue remover pen that I also bought from Amazon to help loosen the glue. Anytime I've ever taken off my acrylic nails the damage to my actual nail bed is always so horrible. They are paper thin and they hurt for days. Taking off this product because I move so slow takes me about 20 minutes, but I've seen some videos where girls can pop their nails right off. So I've done the prep work to my nails, I get all the sizing laid out before I even start. And then I literally glue these nails on cure them in the UV light and just paint them. The gel cures rubbery and if you use too much it smooshes out underneath, so practice with amount. With the prep work, which is just cleaning my nail bed, scuffing it up a bit, and using a bit of acid free primer it takes about 10 minutes. The first set I put on I followed the directions that I watched on TikTok, 1 million different videos and I used the acid free primer. I used a coat of foundation on my nail before I glued/cured them on. The second set, I forgot to use the foundation, guess what everything was fine. This third set I decided not to do the acid free primer or the foundation just to test it see what happens see if that's a step I can cut out and guess what I'm a week into this third set and they are fine. it's nothing short of amazing. I've been paying $60 every two weeks to have my acrylic nails filled. I think these come out to about $1.50 a set. I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever have another set of acrylic nails again. I bought these medium almond and they are absolutely beautiful. I have realized with this third set. They're just a little bit too long for me so I just ordered the short almond and they will be the next set I put on. I can't say enough about how amazing this product. From a nail girl, I absolutely rate it 10 out of 10.

Beetles has been such an experience when doing my nails. I’ve started with other nail kits like polygel and just press-on’s, not that i don’t like them and taking time getting learn a new skill. This just adds to the skill, just makes it a little quicker
