Squid Industries Squiddy Plastic Balisong Trainer

I bought two of these and now my son and I are addicted to learning tricks (currently working on our thumb rollovers). The more we play with these the harder they are to put down. They are solidly built, have liquid-fluid actions, and tension is easily adjustable via hex screws. Completing tricks with a solid click is oh so satisfying. It’s easy to see that these are designed and built by people who care about this hobby. Glad we started our Balisong journey with Squid Industries. I was hesitant about the price, but glad I pulled the trigger when purchasing. They have my business for life.

beautiful flipper. ive had alot of practice balisongs in the past and this one is by far the best! its not too light but not too heavy either. very durable too! ive droped it on hard wood/concrete and not a scratch. i was hesitant buying at first cuz its made of plastic and was worried it would break or be too light and wouldnt have enough weight to throw around for some of my tricks but its surprisingly well weighted and balanced. at first i thought the price was a bit much but after buying given the quality its worth it. im very happy with my purchase :)

Although it is a little light compared to other balisongs, this thing is great. It's a superb way to start your way into balisong flipping.I've been using mine for a few months and haven't had any problems, no real noticeable wear/tear, and I've only had to add lube once. It doesn't hurt while flipping (a problem I've had with other trainers), and its weight makes it easy to practice with anywhere. It has a very friendly look to it, so you can use it in public with very few eyes on you. Overall, 4.5/5 stars, the only problem being its price, but I still think it is very much worth it.

I'm new to this sorta hobby, and I'm really glad that I made this purchase! I bought this a few months ago and the difference between this and cheap trainers is insane. The Squiddy feels so much better to flip and doesn't hurt as much during the learning process.

This fidget toy is great for butterfly knife training.

I was blown away with the quality of this product! I bought a couple cheap ones and they broke really fast. (Washers and screw problems) I bought this one because I wanted something better and I could not have picked a better trainer for the price! Straight out of the box I was in love and was worth all my money!

I got this a little while ago and did not start picking it back up until recently because I bought an actual butterfly knife. I forgot how nice it spins and easy it is to move. It is so lightweight that it does make it a little hard to do specific tricks for me. But that is probably just because I am inexperienced. I highly recommend this product for people getting started.

Came earlier than expected, have been using for over a month and still no repair or maintenance required. Would definitely recommend.

I have just received this today. The Squiddy flips very well and easily, and is a great choice for beginners like me. Is very light but durable, and is in good condition.However, since I have only just received it now, I haven't experienced any longer term issues. I have seen that it breaks very frequently for some people.Overall, still a really great product.

I’ve seen other reviews if there’s snapping in a month, I waited a month to post this mine is still alive I’ve dropped it like 15 times on wooden floorboard, I would be careful cause it can snap, it feels smooth, aerials feel different because handle may bounce off the gap of air, but overall it’s really good and I’ve wanted a Squiddy for a while, comes with box , cloth holder and some cards with QR codes

Great one of the only one i could get shiped to me in AUS one thing the bearings came loss pretty fast other than that it is GREAT buying a one more younger brother for his bday
