Plastic and rather fragile. Consider them disposable. They will clip on most glasses but are easily bent or broken in a pocket or bag.

Q: Are the lens shiny like a mirror?

Only the one clip-on is shiny like a mirror. That would be the one in middle of the illustration. The upper, yellow, unit is great for nighttime or snowy rainy conditions. The bottom unit is a regular sun-glass clip-on.

Q: Are the clamp arm (clips) distracting? As in you can still see them when they are clipped on? Or are they barely noticeable?

Yes. I finally got one pair clipped the other day. I have been trying to find the old clip-ons that were easy off and on, but seems everything is build his way. I tried to even flip these and they were still in the way/ I don't like having to take them on and off to het the clips undone and like I said, of probably 20 pais I have bought I managed to get the clips on one. I've broken the clips on several

No- been using for months now as ‘good’ ones not in yet for at least 4 months. They are fine
