The best without question
These are fantastic and do what they say they will. Perfect to reduce noise exposure in all environments. Comfortable and easy to wear, usual high 3m quality at great price.

Keep most sound out, good quality design, easy to fit and comfortable
They keep most sound out. Unfortunately no ear defenders seem to completely cut out all noise. Easy to adjust to fit, good quality design and comfortable. Would be better if they came with a bag/carry case to protect them when not in use.

They actually work. I am crying from relief.
I just got these ear defenders to not hear impact noise or neighbours yelling through my walls and let me tell you I felt my nervous system feel the shock of being protected from noise and I nearly fell asleep instantly from the peace They actually work and my fiance with noise sensitivity was wearing them and didn't flinch or sigh at any noise from thr neighbours (door slamming, stomping, banging the walls, yelling) he was completely fine. Didn't hear a thing. I really am so glad I found something perfect for him after 4 years of this. I wish I bought these years ago.

Most comfortable, noise sensitivity review & compatibility with earbuds,
I tried the red ones from this brand and a few lower priced ones & for my female head they were all too tight. No brand allows head measurements which sucks so it's a matter of ordering a few & then testing, doing this is a shop is probably better, but not everyone can.I suggest you buy this pair 1st .Here are the ones I tested: M, ERM TOOL - clamped down too much on jaw, could only tolerate them for two minutes. 3M Peltor Optime III Ear Defenders 35 dB, Black/Red Not suitable for use during a whole day, hurt after 30mins,adjusting didn't help. Too much pressure build up in my jaw hurting after only 30mins,inside the cups, there were sharp edges,Material trapped too much heat, causing excessive sweating. Arrived unsealed and with a weird dust on them, looked used. Howard Leight Honeywell VS130 VeriShield 1035109-VS Square design and large bulging out cups did not fit the neck pillow for lying on side/side sleeping,Had to take them off frequently to cool down. I returned those without issues, did film the packing up & postage though just to be sure as many pairs gets expensive! Not ideal but companies didn’t respond/give head measurements or advise...Different models have different cleaning instructions. The cups fit earbuds such as Soundcore p30i but longer stemmed ones barely fit like the p40i it's an art form not to knock them out of your ears when placing muffs over your ears, unfortunately the p30i after trying 2 pairs the video, audiobook & text to speech (talkback & Google play books read aloud) had fuzzyness at the end of sentences/gaps/silences. For music it wasn't noticeable. Troubleshooted with soundcore & their technical team but had to send them back I can sadly only wear these for about 2.5hrs max before the pressure gets unpleasant. Company was okay via email ,although not so helpful about inside cups size saying earbuds not compatible which wasn’t true. They do get quite warm in the summer. The p40i earbuds fit loosely in the cups or can be wedged between plastic & foam.I’m using them for noise sensitivity and they are similar to earplugs ,or at least the Macks women’s sensitive/small ear canal earplugs I used pink & purple .Only problem is when the dishwasher is on and 1.5m away or I’m close to the microwave the earbuds loosely the p40i & p30i were not loud enough ,tried 2 apps to increase volume on Samsung but wasn’t possible, but this was also for Talkback accessibility volume when it reads aloud eBooks on Libby,Play Books read aloud feature for eBooks was a bit louder. Haven’t tried hygiene kits from the brand. Sadly combining the noise cancelling earbuds (both models) with ear muffs don’t completely block out the dishwasher & microwave and washing machine ,even if run separately, they do block out the hum of the fridge though but not crazy drivers zooming loudly two streets down or people slamming doors. I was able to separate a cup from the metal frame,a neck pillow is probably more comfortable to hold the cup when side sleeping/lying. Dimensions of the p30i earbuds: Width: This measurement refers to the side-to-side size of the earbuds. Thickness: This refers to the front-to-back size of the earbuds. The soundcore P30i ear tips measure 12 mm. dimensions for each earbud: Height: 28.6 mm Width: 21.5 mm Thickness: 23.4 mm They sent me some XS white earbuds for sensitive small ear canals after I had some itching with the small ones, sadly this didn't improve much, but the itching was mild (I usually can't tolerate normal foam earplugs without waking up in pain) I get the Macks foam female pink (more effective but more ouchies over less time) and lilac foam ones (can wear for longer) disposable foam ear plugs and the ear defenders block out a very similar amount of noise from the same dishwasher Karlxtom (eco cycle). Important to note adding more dB doesn't mean you get a huge reduction in noise, logarithms or something you can't add dB blocking together. Wearing ear muffs and earplugs with the same dB reduction doesn't mean you will decrease twice as much noise sadly. You will get a reduction just not as much as if you added the dB blocking values together. I can still hear the microwave beep quite loudly about a half meter away and 1m away from the kettle with just the ear defenders alone. 2metres away from the tabletop dishwasher on eco cycle even with p30i earbuds in, noise cancelling on high and I can still hear all the swishing noises and when it empties, but not the drying cycle. Btw the p30i earbuds fit loosely in the cups if you've had overuse of earbuds/earplugs which it's healthy to take breaks from because it allows earwax to exit your ears naturally, just turn the volume up and you can listen to music while they stay loose in the cups usually not touching your ears but only recommend that if you're not moving around and lying down otherwise the earbuds will move within the cups, unless you can secure them,Idk if gluing magnets can be achieved safely as the magnets are for the charging box to line up the earbuds to charge as tiny "pins" Dishwasher: Karlxtom is 50dB The cups swivel so you can more easily put the buds in loosely. Moving the foam to fit the earbuds wedged upright may have some effect on hearing protection. Wired Apple air pods don't really fit well, the cable knocks them out of the ears and loosely into the cups, maybe wired in ear with those ear tips would be better idk. I have pitch & noise sensitivity and the noise cancelling is bearable for me for the p30i mostly & the p40i a little less so,but nothing compared to the Q20i that bothers me after 10mins that I switch it off. They all have an EQ on app and I use the small speakers setting for the p40i because without the sibilance the s’s & t’s are just so annoying with Talkback/Read aloud on Google play, the EQ for reducing treble & boosting bass for audiobooks isn't enough for my sensitivities so I use an EQ on laptop or for tracks I use VLC & go to advanced>semitones & reduce pitch slider They do not fold and the metal extenders for adjusting are not directly noticeable until you try to move them upwards. The quality appears okay so far but it's a lot of hard plastic. Had to return the p40i (2 pairs) the sibilance could not be fully removed with the EQ in the app and they wouldn't connect to Linux well among other issues sadly. Good solid item
These were bought for a small engineering workshop. they look and feel very nice. they are a snug fit and do exactly as they should. before purchasing these items take a quick dB reading of the area for which they are intended and make sure they are suitable. 3M Peltor are a good known brand and our other set have lasted well.

Market leader
3M is the market leader. This is a good pair of lightweight ear muffs. They clamp comfortably to your head and have excellent noise muffling (hearing protection) ability. Good for workshop use and other similarly noisy environments

Probably the best on offer.
I bought Vanderfields Ear Defenders some months back and its like clamping a vice to your head and worse they drag all the bass end frequencies into the headset big time! They are more for field shooting Id say . So I bought these this week. These also attract some bass end but not as bad as the Vanderfields. They take out high-end frequencies very well: Voices, TV , screeching sounds . As headsets go, they are very comfortable. If you need some quiet whilst the neighbours are kicking off I would recommend these for sure. They also look nice and sleek and are very lightweight. Fast delivery all good !
