When I was in high school my aunt gave me this book and my friend and I used to read it and do all the practice exercises. I have no idea what happened to the book, but getting another brings back those great memories of learning the game and I became fairly good at it too. Now I'm getting back into the game 30 years later and I will use it again. Not only as a refresher, but there are some aspects I didn't really pursue then that I will now. Great book and the shape was good, especially for the price.

By far more effective than the YouTube videos that I found, this old veteran from the WWII era is exceptionally instructive. Whether a youngster just beginning or a mature player hoping to improve his or her game this is the way to go.

Best book on pocket billiards out there. Used it when I was a kid learning the game and needed a refresher course.

For the price and size it is OK and their were some good tips in there. If you just want to get a good overview this will work. If you want a lot of depth this is not the book. Overall I am satisfied.

Gave my original copy to family member. Missed reading this and practicing again.
