Otis Technology10 Pack AP Brush (Bonus Blue Receiver Brush)

These are some of the best brushes to use on firearms. I was a Small Arms Repaired for 13 years and these were the best types of brushes. Glad Otis makes them.

Otis was the main manufacture of gun care products the Army issued me when I was enlisted. Needless to say they left a positive impression on me and tend to lean towards their products in my private life now. These brushes are everything I remember and at an excellent value. These bad boys do not feel frail and weak like most of those knock off cheapo brands you see on Amazon and what not. Very well made and you will no doubt get years of service life from them. My advice to all you folks is to stock up on these!!! Oh and for those who are new to the USGI style of brush the white bristle is the softer nylon and the blue is harder.

So there I was going through my tool boxes and storage boxes trying to find one of my multi purpose brushes and could not find one. I cleaned my pistol the best I could, and wound up using some compressed air and cleaner to finish up without being able to scrub like I usually do. Went inside and when I was helping with dishes later, opened the little storage thingy under the sink and there was four of them! I asked my wife and she said they work so great for cleaning. Rather than argue, I said yes they do dear, and ordered these.The multipurpose brush, is great! I use them at home for kits of things like cleaning parts, tools, guns, removing the loose caulking when recaulking, and now in the house.I also have gotten my supply tech to start ordering them for me at work for scrubbing flux and solder residue from circuit cards at work. My coworkers all wonder how they ever made it without them. (They don't have to bring in old toothbrushes anymore.)The blue is a stiffer brush, but not to the level of brass or steal and my wife uses it on grout.My wife loves them, and I use them extensively! Another great product brought to you by Otis!

Update: Originally I gave this one a 2-star rating due to the problem described below. Since then I contacted Otis Technology about the problem and they promptly sent me two white AP brushes to make up for the two missing in the original order. Additionally they sent me an extra blue bristle receiver brush and an Otis lens cleaning cloth. I was quite impressed with how they handled the problem and have raised my rating to 4-stars.I ordered the Otis 10-Pack AP Brush set that included a bonus Blue Receiver Brush. What I received was more like the "Otis 8-Pack Brush" set. The order arrived on time and all the brushes shipped were together, sealed in a well marked Otis plastic bag with language describing the contents as "10pk White All-Purpose Brushes" including a "Bonus Blue AP Brush" (IP-316-NB-11). Upon opening the bag I counted brushes and found only 8 of the regular white AP brushes (instead of 10) and 1 Blue Receiver Brush. I would send them back, but I have an immediate need to use a couple of the brushes, so I'm just going to take this one and mark it up to experience.BTW, based on previous experience with Otis brushes of this same type I have found that they are of good quality and perform their intended use quite well.

Didn't really need 11 of these but for the money I couldn't pass it up.I have used Otis for many years and always trust their products.These are great brushes to have, even if you don't use them for firearms. Many of the reviews have listed various uses and I would add that they are great detailing brushes for my Jeep. Gets the stubborn dirt out of the floorboard crevices and very handy when scubbing out mud stains on the seats and floormats.Works great on my firearms, too.

Looking forward to cleaning some firearms with these brushes. They appear to be a good value for the $s and product design. Wish the single line bristles were a little longer to get around forcing cone of revolvers, will see how they work. Good quality

These brushes are a great cleaning tool. I use them every time I clean the BCG on my AR.
