Work Out Gloves for Weight Lifting - Top Men and Womens Weightlifting Gym Glove

I am writing this review on the DarkIron Fitness gloves as a 'first impression' review, focusing on the initial fit and finish and their function through my first two workouts. I ordered according to instructions which just confirmed what I kind of felt would be my size..large. They are true to fit. I have 40+ years in the gym and I have some experience with gloves. I do not know how they sell these as cheaply as they do...watch out, here comes a price increase :) Seriously, they fit like a glove...no pinch points between the fingers, enough padding on the palms, but not overwhelming. Nice and light even with the leather and mesh build. Attention to detail on the stitching. Could press dumbbells and grip for heavy pulls easily. Flipping the Tireflip 180 XL a breeze. Don't want to sound too strange here, but, I could easily brush my teeth wearing these gloves LOL. Also, Alan is great with customer service as I also own the weight belt and straps. Buy these today if you need gloves. PS. This may show up under the name Lynn, but, I'm her husband. Cheers!

These gloves are very comfortable. The material is pretty soft and pliable so it has a good fit on your hand. Time will tell but it seems durable enough for most activities. The wrist support is fantastic. Not a big, bulky wrap that completely immobilizes your wrist, but enough material there to feel supported. The gloves also have very smart features, like little pull tabs on the fingers so that it doesn't take 10 minutes to get the gloves off when your hands are sweaty. Overall, a very good product and they will see almost daily use from now on.

Just to let you know, I am a gym rat and therefore I go through a lot of gloves. I wanted to get a new pair of gloves and so I checked out different products in Amazon. I found Dark Iron gloves and I liked the design immediately. I usually wear large but there was none available so I decided to try the medium size. When I put them on, they fitted perfectly. I have to tell you that the craftsmanship is impeccable. I also like the combination of black leather and red stitches. The gloves are simply beautiful. The gloves are light but feel strong. The padding is perfect. I have bought gloves where the padding is just too thick and I don't get to feel the bar itself which detracts from feeling total control over the weight. I highly recommend this product to my fellow gym rats!

I usually just use chalk when doing barbell exercises but bought these after tearing a callous. The Palm is a little thick for my taste, but that’s probably just because I’m so used to having skin contacting the bar. Pros: Grip is very solid Made well/materials are comfortable Wristband provides a decent amount of support on overhead presses Cons: Fit is a little snug. Measured my palm at 3.5 inches exactly which was right in the middle of the “small size range. I don’t have a problem with it, but if you’re close to the upper limit for a particular size, I would recommend get a size larger. They’re warm. The backs are leather on a meshlike fabric and don’t have a lot of places for airflow to get in. Won’t effect performance, but your hands will get sweaty.

I ordered These and they were delivered to me on March 10 2019. Today is April 14 2019. I go to the gym 5 - 6 times a week, for 2 hours a day. Judging by the reviews ( They seemed to be more favorable) I figured I'd give them a shot. I will say, that they are comfortable. Unfortunately, that is the only plus. The quality of these gloves are REALLY bad. The pictures show the damage already done to the gloves after roughly a month of use. This is just normal wear & tear gym activity. The stitching is really weak.. you can clearly see the separation near my wrist. The top material layer bubbled up and started ripping. The padding on the right hand glove is separating from the glove itself. I really wanted to like these gloves. I liked the looks of the gloves.. But sadly.... The quality of these gloves are extremely poor.

One of the pull tabs broke off within the first month. Contacted customer service, they did respond right away asking for an order number. I told them I ordered from Amazon and if that number would work. I never heard back from them. Overall they are comfortable to wear, but could use some more padding in the palm. The pair I had from golds gym (walmart) had better padding.

The Darkiron Workout Gloves has very effective design and very durable quality. It is very comfy to wear and provides a very firm grip with the large rubberised material on the surface of the gloves. It also has wrist strap in the design. It is value for money. I am very glad with the purchase. Thank you very much.
