Used to buy the Trader Joes version, but they stopped selling it. Bought this one and am happy with the taste

I couldn't believe the sambal had a very traditional flavor that I have been eating back in my country. The taste is so fresh and I practically eat it with anything when I had lunch or dinner. I bought two and I finished those less than a month.

Package arrived broken and damaged requested refund and was told none available. May want to find another source.I will as I really enjoy the product.

Delicious, despite the overwhelming oil amount/taste. I usually drain it to get less oil before adding it to all kinds of stews, sautés and garnishes. Sometimes I eat it by the spoonful, too...after draining the oil.

I was excited ordering this Sambal but the taste not really that great. I guess its just me but the oil make it taste weird maybe I need to cook it again but overall the shipping was quick and The bottles were in perfect condition

As an Indonesian living abroad, I struggle to find a taste of home, especially sambal. However, this sambal matah is amazing. I used it for condiment and also for cooking. The flavor is rather authentic and the level of spiciness is spot on.

One of my favorite treats. Always have on hand, delicious!

This sauce does not taste good as it looks.. I was excited until I tried it. The flavor of the oil is weird tasting. I do not recommend
