Top quality stove
Snow Peak is one of those companies that produces consistent high-quality products, inspiring some to call them Japanese Coleman. This stove lives up to that reputation. Specific features that are very nice is the simplicity of opening the pot supports, which simply flip open in one motion with no twisting or turning. The shape of the burner head lights very easily and provides good flame control. Overall, a great little stove that I would put in the same class as the Pocket Rocket and the Soto.

Best Camping Stove Ever Made But...
The Giga stove is simply an outstanding job of camping stove engineering. It folds to tiny size, has perfect simmer/blast control, and is nearly indestructible. This version, however, does NOT have a piezo-electric sparker, unlike the other model, which is excellent. Either one is good, but go to the self-starter if possible

Works in cold, windy conditions
I purchased this little stove in 2019 and have taken it on multiple backpacking trips. It boils fast and works every time. The folding arms are very stable holding a 750ml titanium pot. On our last trip one of my companions had the popular stove in the small green pouch and couldn’t keep it lit due to the cold and windy conditions. He borrowed my snow peak and was impressed with the 5 minute boil time. I did scrap the hard case it came in. Mine nests inside my 750ml titanium pot with a fuel canister wrapped in a bandana and a lighter. I’ve been using this setup for 3 years with zero issues. Spend the money, the last thing you want after a 10 mile hike is a stove that won’t work.

High Quality canister stove
This a very high quality, high performance canister stove. Also purchased the windscreen attachment for it because I often camp in high wind conditions.

Backcountry
Took this backcountry skiing and it was perfect for hot drinks on the slopes. Not sure why I have a jetboil. Does the job without the fuss.

Super lite weight
This is a great stove to pack that takes up very little space and can heat up water very quickly. We use ours for a quick cup of coffee without having to breakout a larger stove.

Solid, durable, well-made stove
I really like this stove. I think I prefer it over the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 which I've also owned. I like the four pot holding arms better than three, that's for sure. I always felt like my Pocket Rocket 2 was kind of unstable, especially when used with the Stanley cook set. Just too top heavy, particularly in windy, unstable conditions. I was always looking under the pot to make sure it was centered on the burner. I don't have that problem with this stove -- it works well with small and large pots.

Does not come with fuel
Be advised the stove does not come with gigapower fuel. The photography is slightly misleading. In the description it mentions this very far down the page, but at first glance you’d assume you were getting the fuel as well as the stove in a package deal

Not as pictured
I foolishly thought that what I was buying was the unit as pictured. It's not. What you're buying is just the top piece - the fuel is not included. I guess that makes some sense - you probably can't ship fuel by courier. Nonetheless, the advertising is misleading and I feel like I was induced into buying something that is pretty much useless.
