Very well made leads!
These minigrabber test leads are the real deal. I've been doing electronic service work for many years, and these are as good as any I've used. The grabbers have good positive action, are the perfect size for clipping on to component leads and test points, and they really hold. The banana plugs fit my Fluke meter snugly, and the lead length is enough to do the job. Treat them well and they'll last. A great value!

Fairly good
I think the molds for the plastic are worn out. The grabber was stiff and hard to use. I pulled it apart and sanded off the extra bit of plastic from where it shouldn't have been which resolved the problem.Ponoma needs to refresh their mold or otherwise fix their manufacturing process. That's not a great problem to have when paying extra for premium brand gear.Other than that, it's a good product.

Friends don't let friends buy bad clips
After a disastrous run-in with a crappy clip, I bit the bullet and bought Pomona.Yes there are a lot of fanboys but for reason. It feels like it was built by people who actually like electronics. The grabber jaws snap on with just the right tension—no fumbling, no half-hearted grip. The banana plug seats smoothly and firmly, so you don’t end up wiggling connections like you’re trying to tune in a 1950s radio. Everything feels tight, deliberate, and made for long-term use. What really impressed me was the consistency. I’ve been swapping these in and out of test setups all week, and they’ve stayed rock-solid. No mystery shorts, no sudden “oops, it slipped.” Just clean connections every time. You can tell the difference between a tool designed for reliability versus one designed to hit a price point. In short: if you’re serious about your workbench, skip the disposable junk. This is the kind of tool that earns its keep—reliable, precise, and confidence-inspiring. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and in this case, that’s a very good thing. Also, low resistance of 0.2Ohms if that matters to you.

Best test leads
As a test engineer I've used Pomona products for years and I can say they are the best. They might seem pricey but they are worth it. I've had a set of these for years and was not gentle with them, they as still work like new. I highly recommend these and all Pomona products.

Best quality grabber style test leads on the market
We have been using pomona minigrabber test leads for decades. They are worth the money. The only real way to kill them is by melting them. Their current and voltage ratings are very conservative. Do yourself a favor and get a couple of sets of these Banna Plug to Minigrabber sets and a package of the multi color minigrabber to minigrabber sets. You will still be using them in 30 yearts time. I especially like using them for connecting multimeters to circuits under test and from bench power supplies. Also get one of their metal wall hanger racks too. They make your lab/shop look profesional in an instant.

Poor quality
The red mini grabber incorrectly manufactured with both red and black components. Disappointing given Pamona's decades long reputation of good quality. Manufactured in China.

Very Well-Made Test Clips.
These are the test leads I used when working in the power Industry. I had a set of these that were used until I retired. They are a little bit more in money, but they work well each time they are used without bending and failing to connect to the circuit that I am testing. I have missed them.

Pomona has the best mini-grabbers, but still expensive.
These are much better than the cheaper alternatives. I've been using them for decades, and haven't found anything better. However, they are pricey, and they do wear out eventually. If used in a shared lab they somehow disappear spontaneously too :)
