Well made, good value
This was perfect for connecting new PVC to cast iron. The fit is spot on and the bands tighten nicely without slipping

You won't be disappointed.
Was not sure if this would work or not but it has been awesome. I know, weird word to use to describe a hose with 4 clamps on it, but, when it keeps the stinky stuff in the pipe and not on the ground and was pretty easy to install even in 45 F degree weather, that is awesome.

Good clamp 60 inch-pound NOT foot-pound
Good couplings for no hub pipes Make sure you torque it to 60 inches-pound NOT foot-pound like some of the reviews that complain about the clamps bad. Realized that after destroying two of them lol and cursed junk. But itโs my brain cell deficiency on this one. If you are installing a lot of these couplings, get some duck butter not just any grease, that things makes slipping these couplings on super easy.

Sturdy and functional
Great product and value- functions well very easy to install. Seals well. Used it to put severed cast iron vent pipe back together.

Good product. Works as intended
This coupling is also suitable for a range of pipe types, it felt pretty snug on sdr35 before fastening the clamps. Any gripes are likely user error. (Such as using a torque wrench on the clamp bands)

What you need for drain line repairs
This is the type of no-hub that the pros use. I had to repair a leak under the slab identified by plumber with a leak test and camera. Besides getting through the concrete which is always a pain and digging down with post hole diggers. Slid this on the pipe all the way up and finished up with fittings and piece of straight schedule 40 and left about 3/8" gap, after a bit to let glue setup, slid this down into place and tightened up clamps. I have a small torque wrench that does in lbs and tightened to 60 as is common on these units. After I poured new concrete back to close up hole I feel like I won't have to think about this leak ever again. Quote from plumber was around $2K so not bad for $30 in parts and a healthy amount of sweat equity and a good friend that is always ready to have your back.

Saved my day. Standard unions would not have worked. I had tenants relying on my repair.

not refined
Having used many different clamps of this type, this one is not well made or refined. Given the important of such an item, keeping your drainage system water type and sewer gas free, and often, once completed, the drywall is closed up and painted and you can not monitor its success or slow failure. It arrived beat up and deformed because of poor packaging. Just loose in a bag it has clearly been crushed being at the bottom of a pile. But also the rubber is not well formed. It uses 5/16 nuts to tighten, to a recommended torque of 80 in pounds. Every major maker of these clamps uses 3/8 bands and recommends 80 in pounds, but 60 inch pounds for the smaller versions that do also use 5/16. Something doesn't add up. I would not use this fitting behind a closed wall where it can not be monitored.

Not as good as a fernco!
This thing is very light duty. It is 1/4 of the thickness of a fernco. It is not where near as good as a fernco. Not even remotely close. Do not use this in underground or in closed wall applications! Youโve been warned.
