My Sweet Kitchen

Panache of Indian desserts.
I am going to lead off with one of my most eagerly anticipated dessert, My Sweet Kitchen. I’ve been a fan of Vineet’s for a long, long time – my first book of his was Rasoi, the new Indian kitchen, which jumpstarted my passion for curry and led to constant daydreams of eating in his restaurant in London . Vineet now explores the flip side of professional Desserts: the more rustic, lesser-known regional specialties and home baking favorites. The delightfully big, book covers the whole range of sweet things from simple gulab jamun for the weekend to summery fruit-and-streusel galettes, malpua to rose cheesecake and kulfi – simple, yet all possessed of panache.Vineet’s inimitable voice brings you right into his world, helping you realize that you don’t need to be a pastry chef to do some baking/cooking in your home. Although Indian desserts was what got me into British cooks and their cookbooks, after working I’ve found myself with less time to make and assemble those elaborate confections with multiple components. It’s like Vineet’s book came at just the right time, to let me know there’s still plenty of simple yet stylish and satisfying ways to bake up a bit of Heaven in my home.I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

Best Dessert Book Ever!!
Wow, what a collection of recipes. We own a lot of culinary books including savory and desserts. This book stands out in particular as it’s easy to follow and I was able to make yummy desserts to please my family and guests. Michelin star Vineet Bhatia has done it again with his collection of electic desserts. Can’t wait to see when he will have another book published!!

Something for everyone
I was very pleased with this cookbook. It is hardcover and has a lovely fabric spine. The desserts are accessible, and the instructions are easy to understand. The recipes range from simple desserts with ingredients you can count on one hand to layered desserts that will challenge you. If you want to start simpler try something new, you have something to gain from this book.

Top class cookbook
This book is beautifully put together with a classy feel and an even classier approach. The design and pictures within are amazing and really gives an idea of the type of perfection that Michelin star cuisine demands. From the stance of someone who is not very confident in cooking dessert, this book provides a frank yet warm approach to the task. Chef Vineet's years of expertise are obvious throughout and hopefully, a small amount of this can be gleaned by the reader over time!

Beautiful follow up to Rasoi :new Indian kitchen
Vineet Bhatia sadly closed Rasoi but if you were fortunate enough to eat there you will know that he is a master. His book Rasoi is a gem and so is this. Mouth watering recipes and stunning photographs make it a great read and demonstrates his unique style.
