I got this for a 7 month old kitten who seemed to lack interest in food and wasn't at a healthy weight. I tried all kinds of food, treats, supplements, etc. but he just wasn't interested. He was healthy, vet checked, and playful just skinny. I finally saw this and decided it was worth a try and amazingly, he LOVED it mixed with his canned food! Within a couple of days he was cleaning his dish after every meal and by the end of the month he was up to a good weight, his coat was getting shiny, and he just looked 'brighter'. I've been adding some to the wet food of a couple young females and their coats are already looking so much better. I hadn't thought they looked bad before but they look gorgeous now.

This has been useful for a picky senor dog. The dog prefers it dry vs as a gravy. I mix it with dry food. They're keeping up their energy level and seem peppier throughout the day. I'll buy it again. The one thing I'd change is to have more guidance on serving sizes on the container.

My cat's been fighting with stomatitis and he had lost a lot of weight. I'd gotten this stuff out of desperation to try to get him to eat more and maybe gain some weight. I took it with me to the next vet appointment and showed the vet. He was reading the ingredients cuz he was looking for certain things. He approved it and said to keep giving it to him. So right now I'm adding it to his food cuz he's now eating better after getting some treatment at the vet which he seems to be looking a little better so for now I'm going to say this is a good product. Of course it's also easy to use which helps.

My senior cat refuses to touch his food with this powder on it. It also has a weird vinegar smell? Can’t say I blame him. I tried topping his dry food with the powder, tried it again with wet food, mixing it with water etc. Nothing seems to work. If your cat is picky eater, I recommend the wet tubes this brand offers instead (the ones that look like syringes). I’ve used those in the past and they work really well. It’s just they only have them in single packs, I was hoping this would be a good replacement, but it was not.

On the positive side, he actually loves the chicken flavor. I mix it into his kibble, and it's one of the few things that gets him to finish his entire bowl. It's packed with essential vitamins and minerals, which gives me peace of mind knowing he’s getting extra nutrition. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the powder consistency is very fine and can be quite messy. If you aren't careful when scooping, it gets everywhere, and it doesn't always mix perfectly into dry food without adding a bit of water. Also, while it helps with his appetite, I haven't seen a massive "energy boost" or significant weight gain yet after two weeks of use. It’s a solid supplement for picky eaters, but be prepared for a bit of cleanup!

I have a 19 year old Calico cat. She was eating and drinking normally but I noticed she was losing weight fast. I know it's due to age but I wanted to try to help her. Bought this product and let me tell you... she pushes my hand out of the way when putting down her raised food dish! I sprinkle just a bit on her pate food (vet said she a has "grandma teeth" and can't eat the Blue Buffalo dry food I feed my other cats). She loves it! I'm just trying to do right for my grandma cat who I've had since she could fit in the palm of my hand. I introduced it to her slowly, not putting too much on her pate each time I feed her. After several weeks, she has a bit more spunk in her! I'm excited that she likes it so much and I'm really hoping it helps her gain weight.

I have two 17-year old girls. I noticed they started loosing weight, their ribs and backbone became very prominent. The hair was matting, no matter how often I would brush them. It is not my first rodeo, so I started getting ready for inevitable.
