Overall review of the ieGeek baby monitor camera Summary: First off I think this is a good deal for the price. The camera quality is good, the set up is quick, the screen is intuitive and easy to use. The small features also make a difference, like temperature, rather than it just being a normal camera this makes it feel like a baby monitor. The only downside I noticed is a little bit of lag at times but for the price the connection is almost always stable. It could also be the location where I was testing in my house. Sound quality is also very good for two way communication if you need that. Overall I recommend this camera. Good quality and a good price point for this type of product if you have been shopping around. Quality: Overall the quality is very good as you can see from the video. The video at night is just as good as during the day which is extremely useful for looking after a baby. Quality of the screen and overall physical quality is decent, I dropped it once while testing and the screen didn’t break. Seems like it will last a long time indoors. Ease of use: Very straight forward if you are used to using simple technology. No connection problems at all for me and easy to use as soon as it’s set up. Connection: Speaking of connection it’s very important to know that your could safe, and lag isn’t the best. Sometimes, there is some lag so it’s just something to note depending on where you are placing the camera and your internet connection will vary.

This baby monitor is the best. It has such a clear image on the screen as well as great zoom abilities. It has so many adjustable features like volume, screen on only if there is noise detected, a microphone to talk to your baby, and more. We really like the feature of being able to dim the screen at night. As a first time mom, I like always having the screen on to see my daughter and this dims very well at night so you can sleep without a bright light in your eyes. It is super easy to set up and also has a great range for connectivity. Highly recommend!

This is a nice baby camera. Good quality picture, easy to use and setup. Looks nice in our nursery. I like that is has both a video monitor and phone app. Some downsides: - it was confusing to set up the SD card, I kept thinking it wasn't working as the monitor told me that no SD card was detected and then I realised the monitor had its own slot for an SD card, which is what it is referring to. Recording and taking pictures etc. through the monitor requires its own SD card but the SD card in the camera itself is related to the phone app and records events and history that can be viewed on the phone app. Overall, this seems overly complicated and disconnected. - the phone app is a bit buggy, sometimes it takes a while for the history to load.

I really like this camera. It was easy to setup. I love how it moves around the room to catch the movement. I have it in my preschooler's room and it's been amazing. I enjoy having the ability to talk to him through the speaker and the picture quality on the monitor and phone is very clear even at night. My only small complaint is that the lights on the monitor are so bright it disturbed my sleep. I had to put tape over it. They were lighting the entire area up like a spot light. Its the weirdest thing but other than that I highly recommend. I've caught my son crawling up his bunk bed the wrong way. I said STOP and he said how did she see that. I knew then it was a great investment.

La qualité d’image est vraiment bonne et le fait de pouvoir tourner la caméra presque partout est très utile, surtout quand le bébé bouge beaucoup. Le suivi automatique est appréciable, car la caméra suit l’enfant sans que vous ayez à faire quoi que ce soit. Le zoom permet aussi de voir clairement les petits détails. L’installation est simple et on peut facilement ajuster la caméra pour avoir l’angle parfait. Par contre, il faut être proche du moniteur compatible pour profiter de toutes les fonctions, ce qui peut limiter un peu l’usage. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un bon outil rassurant pour surveiller son bébé au quotidien.

La cámara tiene que ir al WiFi para funcionar, pero tú puedes acceder con datos desde donde quieras. La cámara en sí puede rotarse 180° completos hacia izquierda/derecha, y ligeramente arriba/abajo. El ángulo de visión es muy amplio, es muy difícil que no cubra la zona donde lo pongas. Si quieres ajustar el giro/zoom, puedes hacerlo a distancia con la app. Puedes poner el móvil como monitor o usar el sistema de alarmas, que te notifica cuando detecta algo (movimiento, sonido, cambio de temperatura...), y hace una grabación para que puedas revisarlo a posteriori. Tiene muchísimas opciones y casi todo configurable a distancia, desde encender/apagar la cámara, calidad de imagen, qué detectar, ver la temperatura, o incluso compartir el acceso con otro móvil. Una opción que me ha encantado es la de "llamar" desde la cámara. Literalmente, tiene un botón que llama al móvil emparejado, obligándote a prestar atención aunque no tengas la app abierta o no estés en casa. Esto me parece increíblemente útil para no necesitar un móvil cuando los niños estén un rato solos en casa o para emergencias. Trae también reproductor de música a través de la cámara para poner nanas o cuentos desde el móvil, lo cual es ciertamente útil para ahorrarte un altavoz dedicado. Mi única pega es que la cámara no tiene batería y ha de estar siempre conectada a la red eléctrica. Esto limita un poco dónde posicionarla si no tienes enchufe frente a la cuna/cama y no quieres dejar un cable tirado por el suelo con el que se puedan tropezar. Esto nos ha pasado en casa de mis padres, pero lo hemos solucionado cargando una power bank por el día. ____ Resumen: Me parece una cámara perfecta en cuanto a prestaciones y con una app sobresaliente que, sin monitor, te cubre todo lo que puedas necesitar. Le pesa el no tener batería para hacerla portátil.
