I loved this work book on boundaries. As the Christian faith teaches its following to love ones neighbour.. this book explains that setting boundaries is not wrong for a Christian and that setting boundaries is actually healthy for both parties involved. A lovely readable book with space for the readers own thoughts.

This book was a game changer to me and the principles and tools discussed in the book are universally applicable!

Will be returning as religious

Bought with the Boundaries book. It is based around Christian living, and says so in the description. To all the reviews complaining about this, they probably should have read what the book was before just blindly buying it. 🤷‍♀️

A lot about christianity and the bible lol. And references another book a lot, u need both. Ill be returning.

I made the mistake of purchasing this book as I was looking for a resource on boundaries for my work as a counsellor. The workbook is just a bunch of biblical versus and is completely useless. Unless you are looking for a religious text, I would not recommend.

This book is Christian focused so I was a bit wary because I wasn't sure if I would be able to use it in a non-religious context with my clients. I actually didn't realize that this was a religious text when I purchased it. However, I decided to give it a try and it is so well written with honestly great, sound advice that you can easily take the lessons into any religious or non religious context.

This book helps one understand why they respond to others’ actions, inactions, words, etc. As well titled, the book explains how easy “it can be” to set boundaries. I am “well over” 50 and still learning the value of not enabling and setting boundaries, like saying no, or even saying “yes” but on your own terms; like, I cannot do it today, but I can do it by the end of the week. I don’t get excited about reading self improvement books, as compared to novels (and prefer books on tape), but “improvements” is the keyword and I think we always have room for improvement. I have always had a hard time saying no and I also like to help others. This commonly resulted in overload and that’s not good for anyone’s health or emotions. This book has been so helpful that I am actually going to read it again; but, this time I’m going to use the coordinating workbook I purchased as I move chapter to chapter. I recommend this book.
