Hey friends! Here's a wonderful product that I HIGHLY recommend. I've been using Alaffia African Black Soap long before I became vegan and have loved it for years. I have oily hair like an otter and it cleanses it quickly, squeaky clean, with no residue and it's good for all hair types. It's also a great body wash, face soap, and shaving soap. (I'm a guy so yes, I use it for everything.) I efficiently emerge from the shower squeaky clean, non-irritated, and hair properly fluffified. It has no parabens, no animal testing, no synthetic fragrance, non GMO, no SLS, gluten-free, biodegradable, safe for babies; AND the proceeds purchase bicycles for residents in Togo, toward women's health clinics in Africa, purchasing school supplies, and toward reforestation projects.I much prefer the peppermint scent. My shower instantly becomes an aromatherapy fog, but it rinses so cleanly, I've never smelled like a breath mint afterward.I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This product worked well to shampoo my loced hair. However, I felt that I needed to use a significant amount of it to provide the result I needed. I am all for how natural this product is and it was highly recommended as a shampoo that leaves no residue.

This soap did not fulfill the purpose that i bought i for: acne. Here are the pros and cons:Pros: cheapish, eco-friendly and ethical sourcing, nice smell, does not dry out skinCons: very liquidy, does not last that long, did not eliminate acne as I though it would.I would buy this again, but only as a body wash.

It’s ok product for my mixed type skin

Received this with product missing. The bottle wasn't fully filled... the reason why I believe that is because the pump was very securely screwed on, the dispenser was taped shut and there is no damage to the bottle. I could have bought from any other distributor but I chose this one to support organizations...

Arrived with pump snapped off. Debating returning it.
