Gorgeous. Kind of a rough, unfinished seat, but still very nice. We purchased 2 other stools before landing on this one. It's sturdy and really nice looking. Comfortable enough- no one should sit on it all day anyway. Well balanced too. It's not "Restoration Hardware" but it is great for the cost. Restoration Hardware would get 5 stars.

WONDERFUL
What a great purchase! I love my new kitchen stool. I blends nicesly with my decor and will give me a very comfortable place to do my kitchen work. The stool arrived safely and was so easy to set up. I love that the height of the stool is adjustable and easy to manipulate. I put some covers over the legs right away so the floor would not get scratched. I don't often rave about a product like this but the price was very affordable, and the benefits are great.
