Perfect Retro cd player for your home.
Finally a cd player in a retro look! I love the fact that this has a cd player and Bluetooth. I can jam out to my oldies on cds and switch it back to Bluetooth for the latest hits. This is portable. Functional for any event. Looks amazing and is easy to charge. I can store it in a bookshelf for a touch if retro fashion. The sound is clear and loud for such a small cd player. I love how it looks and it works amazingly well.

Very nice little novelty
This is a very fun little device. It looks like a little record player and offers a lot of the new features we've grown used to with newer audio devices. The built-in speakers are Ok but nothing impressive and they don't get as loud as other portable CD players that have been popping up on Amazon for the holidays. They do well but lack frequency separation, so certain types of music will sound better than others. I mostly tested this with CDs as this is the main selling point to me. MP3 playback is there but most speakers already do that nowadays, and you can find a better sounding speaker that does that if you don't want the CD playback. There doesn't seem to be a way to restart a song unless you're stoping playback, the next and previous buttons will do that, move to the next song and to the previous one, no restarting the current track you're listening to. Construction is solid and I liked that the hinges were actually made of metal and not just cheap plastic, definitely a plus. Front grids are for show, as the speakers are actually on the sides of the unit. Doesn't take anything away but it does mean you can't place it immediately next to a wall like I was intending to. Battery lasts plenty! I ran this for about 4 hours before needing to charge it for the first time. It was running at about 3/5 volume, so I was pleasantly surprised. I think one way this unit saves on battery, is that it will read your CD and buffer the audio into memory for playback. Then the player will pick up on reading the disc again when needed to keep that buffer healthy. Unfortunately, the buffering has a drawback of only working for the current track being played, meaning that if it's close to ending the track and the disc stops spinning, it waits until the song is over to start spinning again, causing a wider delay when starting up the next song. I left a video showing when the player has buffered enough audio and stops the disc from spinning but continues the playback. Overall this is a nice little novelty that I can certainly recommend if you want something decorative that's also functional. However, keep in mind that this is mostly for looks so functionality has a few compromises. Still, the portable size, the fact that it's rechargeable, can be used with other sources and other speakers, makes this a very fun device to have around.

Easy to use and nice looking
Good sound quality. My kids enjoy listening to stories from their bed and like that there is a remote so they can turn it off. Easy to use.

The coolest CD player ever
This is just the coolest CD player I have ever seen. Very nostalgic with the look of an older turntable, CD even spins - (the spinning does stop periodically and it plays what it buffered and then spins again, figured I should mention that in case anyone thought there was something wrong with theirs).. It's not very large so it doesn't take up a lot of space, but the speakers sound very good in this small unit, the controls are easy to use, even comes with a remote which I haven't tried, just haven't needed to. Overall, I think this is one of the best gadgets I've come across in a long time and I easily recommend it.

Impractical maybe but fantastic fun
I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality and feel of this lil player. The speakers aren't great but not the worst. The real best part is just the vibe; getting to see the disk play in a cute lil record-esque way. I am thinking about getting mini speakers to complete the look and have it sound better. Very sturdy lid and body materials.

Surprisingly good sound.
For a portable CD player, it is surprisingly clear in terms of sound. Note that it is somewhat large for a portable device. While it is a CD player, it is designed like a turntable and the CD player mode is reliant on that design. Because of this, you do need to make sure that you don't accidentally switch it to CD mode with no CD inside or with something that isn't a CD above the laser. It has other things it can play, such as playing off of a usb, but I did not try that. The bluetooth functionality works fine and it even has a headphone slot if you want to plug in headphones for listening. It comes with a remote that uses a CR2025 battery and a wall charger that uses USB-A to USB-C. While you can probably charge it with any generic USB-C charger, I'd avoid using a fast charger since I don't know how that would affect the battery. It takes about 4+ hours to charge the device with the included wall charger, so I'm estimating that it is a 5W charger. While it looks like it can take an aux input if you want to use it as a speaker, you'd still need to keep it charged and the manual does recommend that you turn it off when charging to avoid damage to the battery.
