Good Sardines on the Cheap.
Good sardines. There are four good sized fish per tin with skin on and bone in. They are firm, not mushy with a nice flavor. A nice way to get your omega 3 fatty acids as well as vitamin B12. I like them on a saltine cracker for a quick, healthy snack.

"Simply, the BEST YET"...
Absolutely, the best tasting, quality and delectable sardines I've ever eaten, as have loved eating sardines for 75+ years and just recently discovered and purchased these Brunswick brand sardines on Amazon and just placed my order for two more 12-packs of them and looking forward to receiving them...Also, my 15 years old pet cat has turned her 'nose up' to every other sardine brands I've purchased, but she literally gets so excited and antsy for me to get the Brunswick sardines on her plate...Great product, value and much pleasing to the taste...Truly, you need to try them, as they're just "Simply, the best yet!" Great taste for a decent price
Most budget sardine picks really can't compare to more premium brands, but it's also hard to justify spending $10 or more on really fancy sardines that are only going to last you one snack or meal. I tried these after seeing them recommended on The Wirecutter and they did not disappoint; they really punch above their weight for sardines that are decently affortable. The cans are sturdy which makes them easy to take to work or on the go. They are oily but no moreso than any other canned sardines in oil that I've tried. And they hold up for a long time. They're a great option for a healthy and easily portable snack - I like to take a can to work and mix them in with rice and vegetables for lunch.

They taste great. Well worth the price.
The can contains 3 large sardines that fill the whole container except for the soybean oil. I ate them on a slice of whole wheat sourdough bread. It was great! I was tempted to open another can but controlled myself.

Good breakfast sardines!
Four well packed and whole fish in the tin. The flesh was firm, mild taste and smell. I am not usually fond of soy oil, but this was clear and mild. This was based on the first can, but so far pleased with the product

N.Y. Times named these best bargain sardines, I don't think so.
I recently read the N.Y. Times Wirecutter review of sardines and the author said this was his pick for the best "bargain" sardines he tasted among the more than 100 brands he tried. OK I thought, those seem worth a trial. All I can say is that he has radically different tastes in sardines than I do. While the fish are obviously carefully handled and prepared, they are almost tasteless compared to the sardines from Morocco that I prefer. They claim to be "lightly smoked" but detect not the slightest hint of that plus there is so little salt used that also contributes to their tastelessness. The Times reviewer finds Moroccan sardines dry and roughly packed and it irritates him that there are scales left on the fish one had to deal with. Well, those are easy to swallow tradeoffs when you get the much bigger flavors from Sultan or Mario brands compared to these. Brunswick sardines are for those that don't want to taste their sardines and have high standards for fussy preparation. I give them four stars for their careful packing and handling and two stars for taste, three star average.
