Amazing book & coaching methodology
This book was recommended reading from the coaching department at my company and I loved it so much, that I have now signed up to get certified by the school started by the founders, CTI (The co-active training institute). The book is a very engaging read and gives a lot of helpful, relatable examples. It taught me a lot about coaching and has provided an exciting foundation into the world of coaching for me.

Great classic for ICF accredited coaches.
This book is a classic. It has basic coaching concepts and is probably a staple in every certified coach's library. It is a functional read rather than a fun one.

An Outstanding Guide on the HOW for coaching
An outstanding read for anyone in coaching. I use this book as a reference for self reflection and development of my craft. Excellently written, with lots of relatable examples and a wide range of very practical tools and ideas to work with.

One for the bookshelf
This bookโalong with Coaching Athletes to Be Their Best (Fader et al.), The Coaching Habit (Michael Bungay Stanier), and Humble Inquiry (Edgar Schein)โis among the most impactful Iโve read on coaching. As a physical therapist and coach working across the injury-to-performance spectrum while mentoring entrepreneurs, Iโve found these resources invaluable and transformational.

Great for Executive Coaches
Coaches, I highly recommend this book. It is easy to read, contains highly practical suggestions, and gives examples that paint a picture of how to implement their process. After reading this book, my coaching sessions went deeper and my clients experienced more results.

Awesome guide into becoming a Coach
I never take the time to write a critique, feel obliged though to do it with the fantastic book. I was pointed to the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) by a coach and found on their homepage some very valuable and nicely complementing material besides the reference to this book. The description of the "Co-active Coaching Model" is so done so well, that I feel having a very good basis now for what it takes to do successful coaching based on my 30 years of working experience in the Corporate world. Even when you think you are a great Manager (of others), you will learn many eye-opening and new aspects about your leadership/coaching style. There are two recommendations I would have for you: 1) buy the book if you are seriously considering becoming a coach 2) start with the last two chapters in the book on pages 199 (Coaching Skills for a Different Conversation) and 200 (Imagine a World) - this will guide your thinking from the beginning towards what your niche in coaching will be
