Save your hands!
This item is even better than described when it comes to handling the wildly flopping catfish! It's easy to deploy and quickly bring the fish under control for hook removal and stringing or basket insertion. All metal item is easy to clean and store after the trip. Well worth the price.

Have 1 and now we need another
We have been using this one Fish Grabber for years. Doesn't hold the smell like the plastic ones did and the plastic ones break.

Poor design
Hard to open. Poor design. Could cut yourself on the seams if you’re not very careful.

Never touch a fish again.
Years ago an old dude showed me this item. Then proceeded to tell me about his friend who got poked by a small cat fish and died from flesh eating bacteria. From that point on, I will not touch a wild caught fish. Until now….After a few uses it needs lubrication for ease of opening. Some lithium based spray will do the trick

Great for "Hard Head Catfish"
This is a great tool and a must have if you fish salt water and have to deal with "Hard Head Catfish". These have been on the market for 40+ years. Looks like the design has not changed at all. About the only problem with them is you drop them in the water straight to the bottom.
