Alloy toe work shoes
Very light and comfortable. Replaced insoles with custom orthotics like I do on all Shoes. Decent price. Would order again

They fix and are wide
15 extra wide guy. Shoes are great, and comfortable. I've been buying new balance for work for years. Was currently on third pair of soft toes, until I switched jobs and needed steel toes. These will fit the bill. NOTE: walked over 1000 miles on non steel toe pair at work and in parking lot during lunch... tread looks great. (see previous review's for picture.) use them for work around home now. The newer pair I will use for walking shoes.

SUPER lightweight & comfy for a reenforced shoe!
I got the New Balance 589 V1 previously, and was very happy with the protection, but they were like bricks on my fate...not so with these babies! They're much more low-pro and far lighter, which is surprising considering that these toes are aluminum and the 589's were composite. These are comfortable enough to be worn as my main sneakers and "normal" enough in appearance that I don't worry about wearing them out to eat or socialize. I do sort of miss the extra height I got out of the other model, but this is definitely a worthwhile trade-off. Would recommend to anyone who needs protective workwear but doesn't want to lug around an extra pair of kicks. *UPDATE* After a few months the bottom layer of the sole started peeling and getting a little flappy around the edges. Still a very comfy and protective shoe, just a little annoying. Had to drop a star.

Worst feeling shoes I have ever experienced…not a good fit for me.
Love new balance but these did not have much flex and after two days my feet were in horrible pain…wasted a lot of money for these. Looked great felt like wooden planks. Would have returned had o now worn twice…other styles are much more comfortable and I will go back to those.
