Works great overnight!
I found kittens in my yard, and they had fleas. I used blue dawn, and it helped, but the little guys still had a few critters, and I didn’t want to bathe them too often, and irritate their skin.I used this product once they hit 8 weeks, (which is great, because everything else is not recommended for under 12 weeks) and by the next morning, they were flea free. My son and I brushed them out, and found a few dead fleas, but now 4 days later, we haven’t found one!It is fairly cheap, safe for young kittens, and absolutely works!

Rabbit safe
Only this product or Kitten Revolution given by your vet are safe for rabbits. This works well when my dog gives my rabbits fleas. Don't buy any other over the counter product for rabbits or they could suffocate from the fumes.

Works!
My 10 week old kitten came with adorableness and fleas! This got rid of them in record time. Didn't need a flea collar or flea bath.

When it works, it works well.
I've noticed a bit of hit or miss with this recently. When it works I find practically no fleas on my cat at all (I comb my cat 2x a week) and the ones I find are dead. About 20% of the applications don't seem as effective: I'll find a few live fleas whenever I comb my cat. That being said, it's better than nothing, and she's never had a severe negative reaction. It does seem to annoy her for an hour or so after application but it's never enough to stop her from eating or playing.

Safe for the littlest ones.
A neighbor brought me a tiny kitten that they found in the road a little ways from my home. I fell in love immediately, but it was obvious that the poor thing shouldn't even have been away from its mother yet. If I had to guess, I would say she was three, or perhaps four, weeks old. It became apparent that she had fleas because we could see them on the white of her fur and she was scratching a lot. However, she was too young for any sort of medication, so we resorted to baths in the kitchen sink, every other day. I researched different types of treatments when she was old enough and came across this. It worked overnight and she is a happy little kitten now.

NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE
New Review as of December 2023:Advantage II came out with a new version "XD" and I wholeheartedly feel Advantage diluted or changed the formula for Advantage II because for the first time IN YEARS...IT FAILED TO KILL OFF THE FLEAS!!!!I went in Google to read other reviews to ensure I wasn't being judgemental...As well as to make sure it wasn't a bad batch...And sure enough, I'm not the only one who's having this problem!!!People have reported too that after years of never having problems with Advantage II... their cats got bad reactions, some so bad they had to go to the ER.Idk whats going on with your formula Advantage...But I highly suggest making it like you used to!!!!Cats & kittens shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of your greed!!!Old/Past review:Idon't trust any other OTC brand for flea meds. Some don't work...Some kill or harm your kitty.Make sure you get the appropriate dosage for the weight of your kitty cat!!!This is so important!!!But it definitely kills fleas!!Most are gone within the first 24 hours!!Kinda wish Advantage would make a topical flea treatment and tape-dewormer treatment all in 1... similar, multi-dewormer treatment period like Nexxgaurd.Dogs get all kinds of deworming treatment choices at a fair price...Cats tend to cost an arm and a leg... especially when you have multiple cats. And I don't think that's fair to kitty cats. :'-(Anyways...Always go with Advantage!!You can't go wrong!!!READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!!!If you need to weigh your kitty....1.) Step on a scale and get your weight.2.) Go get your kitty and step back on the scale.3.) Subtract the weight of when you held your kitty cat from your weight, and you will get the weight of your kitty cat.I highly recommend doing this for the sake of the safety and health of your kitty when giving ANY flea treatment!!!!!Thank you & God Bless you and your kitty cats!!!Photo credit; My furrever kitten Amber a.k.a.
