Admittedly, I saw this online and it felt gimmicky, but since it was inexpensive, I figured I'd give it a try. Four years later, and I can't imagine living without it!Pros:- Cuts through anything we've tried it on (cardboard, plastic film, paper, foam)- Safer around kids- Good size to hold (not bulky but not tiny)- Different versions are colored differently (orange ones have a blade that stays out, while green ones you have to keep holding the button to keep the blade out)- Magnetic (we keep one on the fridge)- Long lasting (we haven't had to replace a blade in 4 years)Cons:- It's only magnetic on one side, so you have to place the right side against the metal surface- It would be nice if it had a hole to hang/loop through something

These are so convenient! I buy them as gifts to keep on hand for teachers, neighbors etc! It is the most convenient package opener, and box cutter we have! I prefer the auto retracting option but the manual one is also great! I have multiple of my own I keep in my fridge as they are magnetic!

I love it! So tiny and functional! It's easy to use, and I don't have to worry about potentially scratching/cutting myself because the blade is ceramic. The blade is not too long, but it's enough to open packages. It's also very affordable, and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I love this box cutter. It's great, and it's safe for the kids to use. I love that it has a magnet and I can stick it on the fridge, and I always know where it is. The only bad part is that the kids keep losing it, and this is the third one I've gotten. I will definitely buy again if it goes missing.

I volunteer at a foodbank and use these every shift for opening packaging of various sorts. They are not super heavy duty but will handle a lot. Easy to slip in my pocket and, since they are ceramic, I don't worry about cutting myself if I forget to sheath the blade.

Easy to use, good cutting ability, but comes apart easily, not very well built.

We purchased one of these and the blade broke within a matter of weeks. We then ordered a replacement and the lock wouldn't function, returned for another one that took a month to arrive, came scratched from Amazon, lock doesn't work, opened up the slice and found the lock can't work as it's a small piece of plastic entirely behind the slider, doing nothing. Do not buy this poorly produced product just use a pair of scissors or a knife.

An amazing product. Cuts through packages easily but I have never once hurt myself using it.
