Organic Veda Moringa Powder (1 lb), True Green Native Moringa Oleifera 100% P...

I've learned my lesson. I ordered this powder last year and then when I ran out, another product was on sale and at the time I thought how much variance could there be...well, quite a bit. The other product was very dark green appeared to be made very old leaves. I will not be straying again. This product is so fresh, I can't wait to see if I feel better taking this vs the other brand. I love the new container, it is so much better than the bags. They were always so difficult to deal with loosing puffs of powder each time you use them if you don't take extra care closing. If you are curious about Moringa itself, I began taking over a year ago. I have fybromyagia and several other chronic health issues. I am down in bed 75 - 90% of the time, what I did notice after I started taking moringa was that I didn't feel quite as bad even on the times when I'm completely down,the length of my recovery time from activity is greatly shortened and my body recovery from activity is easier (not as much pain or stiffness after activity) or after sitting or laying too long. At first I took mine 1 teaspoon with warm water and stevia after breakfast and dinner not too hot as to remove any nutrients but now I just put in about 4-6 oz of filtered water from frig and mix with my orange flavored vitamin supplement and mix with a portable battery operate red hand held blender my son got me for Christmas from Amazon. It is so much easier to drink after using the blender completely mixed and no waste. I have seen were people with Parkinson's and MS take a lot more than 2 teaspoons a day, I will be doing more research to see if larger dose would help me with more issues. Moringa will remain a staple for easing my symptoms and pain and Organic Veda Moringa will remain my brand. Awesome quality product. Hope this helps your decision to try Moringa. Before taking moringa, for years I took the usual multi-vitamin like many other men. Over time, I tried various ones, Mens One a day, Centrum, or generic store brands, depending on availability or my finances, so basically I had no preference, I would take one a day until the bottle was gone, then get another one. I would say that I was in OK health, but by no means a health nut. Several times a week ate junk food and visited fast food places, along with not much excercise. I did however try to make healtheir food choices in everyday life, limiting fried food, try to not eating late, juice/water not soda, limit sweets, etc. Generally I would not get sick very often, and there have been times when during the entire year, I would not get sick once, no cold or flu, etc. I am not sure how big of a role did multi-vitamins play, along with the other health decisions I made to my overall health. But this I AM SURE of, within just a week of taking moringa, I noticed several improvements. So even though you may take large dose of synthetic Vitamin C in a pill form, you would benefit much more if you ate some bell peppers or drank a glass of orange juice. I also love the fact that the energy is not like the "in your face" kind you would find in a can (or two) of an energy drink. Whenever I try a new product, be it a supplement or beauty product, I like to give it a 6 week trial to be fair. That being said, I can only give it 4 stars because I haven't been taking it very long. However, so far so good. Since I know my body better than anyone I started at 1/2 dosage for a few days before taking the recommended dose of 2 teaspoons. Using a shaker bottle, I put it in juice, shaking often. It doesn't suspend well in thinner liquids like it does in a smoothie. It has a pleasant grassy flavor. I've also sprinkled it on veggies which is okay, but never again at dinner. I didn't sleep at all well that evening. It gives me a great all-day energy. At the end of my day I sleep really good. I haven't slept well in years. So for myself this is a little miracle. I'm also experiencing a gentle detox. I'm glad I began at 1/2 dosage. The Moringa powder seems to have curbed my sugar cravings as well. I just don't want it as often now and when I do eat sugar I don't want as much as before. It also curbs my appetite. Sometimes I forget to eat because I'm simply not hungry. I drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I'm feeling pretty good. Give it a chance and remember to ease into it. I don't have any negatives to say about Organic Veda Moringa Powder.
