Rented it for me and my daughter's to watch. We really enjoyed it.

Good for people who want to change their mind, comedy but transforming

I remember there was a time I hadn’t watched this in my childhood, then one day during the pandemic I felt it in my soul to watch this and I did…and the ✨feels✨! I’m always gonna tear up at the scene at the end where her dad recognizes the resemblance in Poppy and her mom (aka his late wife)..Poppy’s growth, the friendship she makes with the girls, her realizing what it means to be herself and lean on others. I will forever love this movie and is one of my comfort movies lol, I’m 22 years old but I watch it as if I’m a preteen again. I think because it shares the same nostalgic feel of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging which has been one of my fave comfort films since it aired that one 2008 summer night on Nickelodeon. I’m a fan of most films in the coming-of-age genre they just speaks to me. I also love that Adele, Rihanna, Eve and Nelly Furtado and many others are on this soundtrack! “Who are weeeeee 😚?”

It’s like a fun teen movie but so cute for us grown. It’s a good film about a girl that grows up with a different healthy environment.Plus you can’t go wrong with an Emma Robert film.

I hadn’t seen this movie since I was in middle school but after seeing a thread about early 2000s movies online, I decided to give title a rewatch.Emma Roberts plays Poppy, a “valley girl” with the perfect life, whose attitude has landed her in a strict English all girls boarding school for a semester as punishment for her refusal to welcome her new stepmother into her family. The characters (and acting) from her hometown are pretty lackluster, but once she gets to Abbey Mount, the boarding school in England, she meets her new group of friends, teachers, and the headmasters son and her adventures begin!Throughout the movie, there are many quintessential 2000s music, pop culture and fashion trends, which made it a fun blast from the past. The plot of the movie isn’t incredibly complex but it did keep me engaged on the rewatch (even as a 25 year old). Anyone considering renting or buying this to please their inner child, absolutely do it! It was a pleasant watch and I plan to come back to it again in another 5-10 years for another rewatch.

Amo questo film, le spedizioni sono state veloci, il cd era intatto e si vedeva benissimo. Consiglio questo prodotto non solo per le qualità ma anche perché è un bellissimo film.
