ATOM 2 Drone with Camera for Adults 4K, 10KM Range, Fly More Combo

Here is my two cents on Potensic. I had my hopes up for this drone. It was a lot of bang for the bucks o I took a chance. I ordered the Atom 2 fly more package. Well, when it arrived I was very impressed. It seemed very well built. It really looded good for another mini drone. I charged it up, which didn't take to long in their propriatory charger. The bag was as expected. But the controller was something different. Dog bone style. Your monitor goes in between the handles. Controlls were a little backwards, but can be changed. Time for the first flight. This little drone was very impressive. Liftoff it went straight up and hovered tightly. I flew it around and really started to like this one. Videoing in night mode is great. It had all of the bells and whistles. It flew very nice. It takes very good pictures and videos. After several days the only thing that botherd me was no nd filters. Yes, you could use ones made for other drones, but to me they never really fit right. But they have fixed that now if you can get your hands on one. So here I have an excellent drone. I flew it almost every day waiting for it to fall apart. No such thing. Even after a few "hard landings" the drone performed great. Untill.....I really goofed. I broke an arm and the camera gimbal was all out of wack. So I get intouch with Potensic. Things seemed to go slow, but they are across the world and are working when I am in bed. And boy am I glad that I bought the extended warrenty that they offer. It took about two weeks because they would ask for something and I would not get that until the morning. By the time that I replyed, it was all ready the next morning before I would get anotyer reply back. BUT, they did an outstanding Job at getting me a new drone once everything they asked me to do failed. So GREAT job for making a fantastic little drone. And GREAT job on the warranty work, even if it took a little time. I am very impressed, and I think anyone ordering the Atom 2 will be too. Sorry for dragging it out so long, but I am very impressed with this company and it's drones. Come on ND filter!

I picked up the Potensic ATOM 2 and got to fly it in a few different scenarios over the weekend — and honestly, I’m extremely impressed. What stood out right away: Picture quality: Photos and video look sharp and clean, way better than I expected at this price. Ease of flight: Super intuitive to fly, stable, and confidence-inspiring even with only a few days of experience. AI tracking + photo features: The tracking and “smart” shooting features are excellent and make it easy to capture shots that look professional without a ton of effort. Speed: It moves! I’ve seen it hit around 35 mph, which is more than enough for action shots and getting where you want quickly. Vertical shooting mode: Huge bonus if you create content — it has vertical mode for social media/Instagram-style clips. I’ve only had the drone a short time, but my early impression is that this is a fantastic value. I have zero regrets choosing it over a much more expensive DJI, and I’m genuinely excited to keep flying it and capturing more photos and videos. Highly recommended if you want strong performance and features without paying premium-brand pricing.

I bought this whole combo kit when it was only $441.99 worth every penny I’ve had drones in the past this is by far not my first drone, but has way more granular features than most drones at this price point and more importantly, it has more features than I could ever ask for including a full screen, dedicated remote controller if you’re looking to get the drone world I highly recommend this drone in particular. It’s so good that I’ve been able to seamlessly integrated into my YouTube channel at 4K30 frames a second which more than good enough considering most movies only shoot at 4K 24 frames a second for cinematic Quality there’s plenty of accessories available for this drone, including CPL filters and other accessories too many to list . I’ve had no problem flying the drone and strong winds and it’s extremely fun and intuitive not to mention you can even set a whole passport to fly on its own and have it come back if that’s how you prefer to fly .

Unbelievable value for the price. Picture is insanely good for what it is, connectivity range is further than it needs to be, battery life is acceptable, but ease of use is INCREDIBLE. Literally anybody can fly this thing confidently right out of the box. Follow the instructions, watch the videos and you’re good to go. After watching way too many YouTube reviews on pro’s and con’s of dozens of drones I’m beyond glad I settled on the Atom 2 over a cheaper toy or a similarly priced DJI. Worth it to get the three battery kit (and maybe even a few extras) or you’ll wind up spending 3/4 of the day waiting on charging. This is an amazing unit I intend to enjoy for several years, all for the cost of a birthday dinner.

This is a very nice and affordable drone. I bought it because I was not able to obtain a DJI drone for a reasonable price at the time due to the shortage. I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. For the price, you get the extra batteries and multi-charger for the same price as you'd usually pay for just the base drone package with DJI. The controller is pretty decent, and fits my phone easily. You could potentially mount a tablet with some creative use of mounting brackets. Feature and performance wise, I would say this drone compares very closely with the DJI Mini 2.the reason for that is like the Mini 2, this drone only has proximity sensors on the bottom. So unfortunately you don't get collision prevention that many more advanced DJI drones have. This is the only reason I removed a star. Everything else about this drone is great and still for the price I would buy another. The software for the drone is easy to use, and pretty intuitive. Not quite as polished as the DJI app but it doesn't make a huge difference to me and I haven't had any problems with it. Flight performance is great. It might be slightly more sensitive to windy conditions, but I was able to fly in relatively high winds without to much trouble. The video quality is also quite good honestly. It's definitely good enough for cinematic use. Overall for the price I think this drone performs well enough for first time flyers to have a good experience without spending a small fortune. I'm quite satisfied with it.

This drone is really cool. I fly a DJI Mini 3 with my job, but I’ve been wanting to buy a drone for personal use. I haven’t been a big fan of DJI with the amount of disconnection I have mid-flight and mid-air, and I did not want that for my personal flying. I did a lot of research and determined to try out the Atom 2 based on the things I’ve read online, and I’m glad I did. So far this drone is very reliable. Photos are incredible, video is great.. flight time is definitely 30 minutes per battery. The remote control is very nice and connects quickly and reliably once you get it set up. My only complaint is set up was a little complicated. My drone came with zero instructions or user manual. Overall, this is the best drone out there for the money, if you ask me. I appreciate how reliable it is to fly it and haven’t experienced disconnection issues so far.

I have had a number of camera drones but can say this is the beast by far! The new PTD 1 control screen is excellent and actually allows you to see what is going on, while also offering smooth and easy control - This Fly More Combo kit includes everything you need right out of the box! (NOTE: you will need to provide your own mico SD card) This thing is a dream to fly and is packed full of features! I live on the coast and so far have had it five miles over the bay at 300 feet with zero issues! RC still had signal, video was spot on and return to 'Home' brought it back within inches from where it took off! Pictures/videos are beyond excellent considering the drone price. The drone is well constructed and should hold up well!

User Experience & Software: Flying the drone feels incredibly intuitive; the learning curve is surprisingly flat. The accompanying flight application enhances the experience significantly, offering a wealth of real-time flight data and helpful tutorials that genuinely aid in skill development. Final Verdict & Recommendation: This drone punches above its weight. If you decide to purchase the Atom 2, take my advice: spring for the package that includes all three batteries. The extra flight time is a game-changer and well worth the minimal extra investment. You absolutely won't regret it. The Potensic Atom 2 is an excellent choice for anyone ready to take to the skies.

...begeistert, diese kleine <250g Drohne. Als langjähriger Drohnenpilot, der bisher Dji-Drohnen flog, fliege und besitze, (Dji Phantom3 und Dji Phantom 4 Pro), ware es an der Zeit, mal etwas kleineres, evtl. für Indoor-Füge anzuschaffen und so hatte ich mir die Potensic Atom 2 bestellt. Lieferung, durch Prime, gewohnt schnell und zuverlässig, war sie schnell ausgepackt und die Akku's geladen. Bestellt in der "Fly more Combo", die ich hier auch absolut empfehle, hat man dann, neben der Schnellladestation, gleich 3(!) Akku's, die, nach Angaben des Herstellers, bis zu 32 Min/Akku Flugzeit bieten. Reel sind es (bei mir) ~23 Min, was trotzdem ein sehr guter Wert, fpr die Größe des Akku's darstellt. Somut sind Flugsessions mit der "more fly combo) bis ca. 60 - 70 Min., je nach Flugsituation, Wind und Eigenschaften drin. Überraschend, in dieser Klasse, die umfangreichen Möglichkeiten, der Videomöglichkeiten und AI-Funktionen. Für ~400 € bietet hier niemand der Konkurrenten Vergleichbares. Selbst "Dolly Zoom" oder "Cine Roll", das sind Features, die sogar hochpreisige Drohnen nicht bieten und nur umständlich in der Nachbesrbeitung und mit mäßigem Resultat machbar sind. Weiterhin ist der "Easy-Transfer" zu erwähnen, der sich hauptsächluch an Content Creatoren und Influencer richtet. Hier kann man sofort Content von der SD-Karte (die nicht im Lieferumfang ist), auf dad Smartphone oder in'I-Net laden kann. Ich könnte noch viel, viel mehr schreiben. Eines kann ich sagen: als langjähriger Nutzer und Pilot von Dji-Drohnen, die jedoch preislich in einer ganz anderen Liga spielen und sich an bestimmte Anforderungsprofile richten, ist hier mit der Potensic Aton 2 ein richtig, richtig guter Wurf gelungen. Die Drohne liegt 1A in der Luft, für die Größe super stabil zu fliegen, dank >250 g ohne Kompetenznachweis in der A1 Kategorie zu fliegen, da C 0 Klassifizierung. Somit muss man sich, sobald man außerhalb von Räumen fliegt, selbst in seinem eig. Garten, a., sich beim LBA anmelden und sich registrieren (da, wenn Sensoren für Flugdatenaufzeichnung, bzw. Kamera vorhanden), b., nach Registrierung bei LBA, die zugesandte "e-ID" an der Drohne anbringen und c., zwingend eine Drohnenhaftpflicht (die zwingend gesetzl. vorgeschrieben ist) abschließen, die es p.A. bereits für ~30 € gibt. Fazit: wer in die Wekt des Drohnenfliegens einsteigen will und hier größtmögliche Freiheiten, was das Fliegen betrifft, ist nit der Potensic Atom 2 super beraten und wird Mega Spaß erleben. Einzig, die fehlende Hinderniserkennung, ist dad Einzige, wad ich hier bemängeln kann, dies aber in dieser Preisklasse absolut unüblich ist. Reichweiten von bis zu 10 km(USA z.B), sind hierzulande nach EU-Recht nicht drin. Trotzdem sollen bis 6 km drin sein, dies habe ich noch nicht getestet. Max 120m hoch, mehr ist in der C 0 Klasse nicht drin und ich bin bisher 1800 m weit, ohne direkten Sichtkontakt (Bäume, Wald etc. dazwischen). Wobei -> Flug immer nur mit Sichtkontakt erlaubt. Zusammenfassend kann ich, der sicherlich i.Bzg. auf Drohnen sein Urteil fällen kann, die Pitensuc Atom 2 uneingeschränkt empfehlen und habe bisher riesig Spaß an der kleinen Drohne, die, ob ihrer Größe, ganz easy mal schnell mit der Tasche um den Hals gehängt, spontane Expiriences erlaubt. Auch für's Fahrrad und Motorrad super einfach und platzsparend zu transportieren. ++++Von mir -> klare Kaufempfehlung!++++

Au top ! Totalement satisfait de ce drone Potensic Atom 2, pack avec 3 batteries, rack de charge, sacoche, pièces détachées et mini tournevis. J'ai pris un carte SD SanDisk 250go en plus car non fournie. Caméra, nacelle et vidéo : - qualité d'image parfaitement propre, fluide et lumineuse. - stabilisation époustouflante ! En vole stationnaire par exemple, parfois je regarde le drone luter physiquement pour stabiliser et à l'écran pas un oscillement. Manette de commande : - ergonomie excellente. Parfaite prise en mains, matériaux adaptés et robustes. Conçue comme une manette de ps, mais extensible pour pouvoir accueillir différentes tailles de smartphone. Le mien est grand. - sticks de qualités, modelés pour la précision dans les mouvements (petites dents antidérapent), dévissables et bien fixés dans son logement au dos de la manette. - réception signal parfait, pas de lag. - touches/commandes/modes paramétrables à souhait suivant vos préférences. - indications/alertes écrites et vocales et en français. - Le fait que l'écran ne soit pas intégré à la manette est un pris poir moi car : choix independent du modèle/qualité de smartphone ; s'il casse, pas besoin de tout changer Stabilité au vent : - respect les indications. Je n'ai pas pu voler en bord de mer à Cabour cas trop de vent, mais j'ai pu le faire en bord de mer à Paimpol et l'île d'Oléron. Connectique : - usb-c pour les batteries, la charge de la manette et le branchement smartphone. - rack de charge 3 par transfo spécifique fourni. - câble double usb-c branchement manette-smartphone fourni et robuste (taille adapté pour ne pas qu'il pendouille). Data : - les vidéos ont un fichier sous-titres qui s'enregistre en parallèle (.txt). Ce dernier contient les coordonnées GPS, l'altimétrie relative au point de décolage, la vitesse de déplacelement, etc... - ces données peuvent être affichées ou masquées lorsque vous visionnez les vidéos, comme des sous-titres classique. - j'oublie fréquemment d'arrêter l'enregistrement d'une session avant d'éteindre le drone et/ou la manette, mais l'enregistrement se fait quand même automatiquement. Et ça, c'est trop bien ! Une seule vidéo ne s'est pas enregistrée, mais je me soupçonne d'avoir oublier de lancer la session ^^' A améliorer : - mise au point pour les photos assez lente. Je fais donc des vidéos pour en extraire la meilleure image. - 1 seul capteur de proximité sur ce modèle : en dessous. Proposer des options pour ajouter des capteurs ? latéraux, avant, arrière, dessus. Mais la réglementation sur le poids max de cette catégorie sera un frein. - Le rack de charge à un transfo spécifique, dont le fil est "frel". Il aurait été pas mal qu'il s'agisse aussi d'un USB-C, fourni avec câble et transfo de fort capacité (équivalent charge rapide pour smartphone) Non testés : - mouvements de captures vidéos pré-enregistrés. Il faut beaucoup d'espace, pas d'abres ou autres obstacles etc... si on ne souhaite pas craindre pour son drone. - mode poursuite d'une cible, pour la même raison. Pourtant je désirai ce mode mais ne m'en sert pas, notamment en session kayak , car trop d'arbres et donc de risques. - enregistrement parallèle dans le téméphone de la manette. Sans raison. J'y pense jamais avant de lancer la session ^_^' pas eu de soucis avec l'enregistrement sur la SD dans le drone. Je compléterai peut-être plus tard car beaucoup à dire sur ce produit de qualité. Reçu en juillet 2025, j'ai fait de nombreuses session vidéo avec déjà, notament pour 2 mariages, dans les gorges du tarne, en Dordogne, en bords de mers de Normandie, Bretagne nord et Oléron, pour le suivi et time laps des travaux de ma maison, etc... Navré poir ce pavé =^_^=
