what size trim for 8mm tile

Hi, We reccomend a 10mm tile trim for 8mm tiles to allow room for adhesive. However please confirm this first with your tiler as some prefer more room then others to allow for different quantities of adhesive

can I use this between carpet and engineer timber floor?
