I needed to replace the watch band that came with a new watch, as it was WAY too long, and this band was a perfect choice. I have an average (6") wrist. It's a perfect length as you can see from the photo. The band doesn't stick out past your arm and catch on things. Also, the band is very flexible and isn't getting crease marks from being bent around my wrist, like the other band was. I highly recommend this band for women with average wrist sizes.

I purchased this for my 84-year-old housemate. We installed it onto her watch and she wore it for a day. Despite being on all day, the strap never softened. The second morning, when she went to put it on, the top of one of the straps, where the connector slides through, broke completely. She's 84. She's not rough on things. The fact that it broke so easily was so frustrating to her, she threw it away. Very frustrating. I've never had a leather or leather-type watch band that doesn't soften after being on for a few hours.

The band has raised stitching on the inside where the buckles attaches that makes it impossible to wear for any length of time. It is hardly the first leather watch strap I have owned, but certainly the first that has had this problem. Very disappointing.

While the construction and aesthetic appearance is pretty good, I failed to see the finished stitch sticking up from the underside of the band by the buckle. My wife came home with an irritated wrist on day one. My solution was to heat a cheap knife with a flame and applied the hot knife with a gentle swipe briefly the "thorny bit" to smooth it down. After that, she said it was better. Easy fix for an otherwise nice band. BTW, I measured the watch, ordered the right size, and it fit perfectly.

The watch band is a nice quality leather and looks really nice. I was having trouble finding a larger leather band at my local jewelry store. All the bands they carried were just a bit too small. So I ordered this one. At first I was thrilled with the look and feel of the band but after a couple of days the band came off the watch. I reattached it and it feel off again. I had kept my old metal rods and found that they were larger and more sturdy. I am now using the old rods and I am not having any problems. I would recommend keeping your old metal rods and using them.

I purchased three months ago to replace a tattered watchband. Pros: Shipping time as suggested. Quality of watchband is slightly stiff and has maintained its new appearance. Makes my old watch look new. It's comfortable (follow instructions for size). Cons: No spring bar tool included. The spring bar pins were slightly smaller in length than my watch required, so I used the watch's original spring bars. Not a big deal. I would purchase the same watchband with this seller, but with the good quality of this product, it may take many years from now.

Good quality and price, perfect fit to replace worn band on my Timex Indigo watch. Came with pins but I just reused the ones from the old band. Easy to attach to the watch using tiny flathead eyeglass screwdriver to hold down the spring-loaded end of the pins. Will order again if the watch keeps on ticking!

Looks great, fits well and easy enough to put on.Only wish it were about an inch longer. Have to use the very first whole which makes the buckle part sit more to the side of my wrist instead of centered, but it’s a nice band overall.

A little difficult to locate pins without a tool

I have had an identical band for quite a few years. I ordered this one and it's pretty good quality, works well. For some reason it did not come with the pins. I was able to salvage them from my previous band.

Returned this item - the buckle popped off as soon as I tried to put my watch on my wrist. Even if I could have put it back on (was unable to, even with pin tool - as the pin is so small), I would worry that it will pop off again unexpectedly when I am wearing my watch. I would not recommend this. Also, the description says 16-20mm but the band comes only with 10mm pins.

I love this strap, it doesn't get slimy when wet and looks great!
