Boys of Bonneville

Its a good story but not a compelling as it could have been. it is not find a movie that I will watch more than once. I will pass it on to my car friends as it is an honest story of the old days at Bonneville. There are few movies about Bonneville so that does make it worth while.

I came across this film a couple months ago and have watched it at least half a dozen times since. The story of Ab Jenkins and the Mormon Meteor was new to me and incredible to behold. He was the first person to test the Bonneville Salt Flats on a motorized vehicle just to find out how fast he could go, and he didn't stop there. His feats of endurance are ledgendary, and the story of the evolution of speed at Bonneville is epic. A truly must see film for anyone.

Got this for hubby and he loved it. It isn't a movie, more of a documentary but it was interesting, even I watched it after unsuccessfully trying to read.

Being a car race enthusiast, I enjoyed seeing the authentic history of racing and learning about the heroes who gave us such a sport..

This is a great film that talks about some of the pioneers in one small segment of activity, in one small part of the world who's actions changed the world and created legends. A great story of human creativity, perseverance hard work and drive,..literally! If you love cars and stories of great human effort, you will love this film.

Good history, but a little limited in scope. Priceless photography of never before seen footage, but could have used a broader perspective

Great movie about the iconic place and people that are Bonneville!

Very good video, but I was expecting and hoping for more than a documentary about Ab Jenkins. The video is a singular documentary of this original Salt Flats racer, and not a documentary of the many and varied racers there.

It is really good and was so pleased to receive it..
