When I started using this product I was using the lowest setting accidentally (because I'm a genius) and did not get any results. Once I cranked it up to the second highest setting, this device was a game changer. I used it 2x week for 2 months on my arms and my previously gorilla-esque arms are completely smooth. I have not shaved them for over a week and there is no stubble at all, when previously they would grow stubble overnight.I have medium olive skin with black hair and the device does not work on highest setting but is fine on all lower settings. It will occasionally blink at me on the second highest setting if I'm going over a very tanned area but works on every other part. Amazing product, would recommend since it costs less than half of what a professional laser session does with similar results.

I returned the first one because after a couple of weeks it stopped working. Levels 1-4 are worthless. I started at level 5. It does not hurt - especially compared to what the real thing feels like if you have it done professionally, so does that mean it is not working? I cannot say because it did not last long enough for me to tell. The exchange process through Amazon was simple and seemless. A new one arrived within days. It starts out fine and again in less than 3 weeks the thing died. It will work a few times and then it stops, and I have to let it "warm up" before it will even start the few flashes it puts out. I am returning again permanently. This product sucks and for the price it is a total rip off. You can get 4 groupons for 6 sessions of laser hair removal of a small area like chin or upper lip at a salon or doctor's office for less than the cost of this machine.

This is not LASER HAIR REMOVAL, this is an IPL light hair removal. I am very dark skinned. It will only allow me to use up to the number 2 level. Does it work? I don’t know because it’s been a few weeks. I’ve had laser hair removal at ideal image and they burned my skin. I needed to keep up with my treatments and I truly believe that this item will assist me with my hair removal dreams if I keep being consistent. Amazon will allow you to send this item back if you find that it does not work for you within 30 days and more. I have seen less hair on my chin and neck. I have used it on my legs and arms and my pits, I have see longer in the days that the hair on those areas don’t get as hairy by the end of the day. I strongly feel that this will help me stay smooth and more confident with all of my hairy areas. To have control over where and when I want to try and lessen my hair is priceless. First get a full treatment of laser hair removal then use this to keep up. Dark skinned people, BUY THIS and keep going. I use mine like weekly if I have not been in the sun. You can trust that it won’t burn you and like I said, this is priceless. Good luck and if I see a change I will let you know. I didn’t see any reviews from a very dark skinned person like myself.

It takes patience to see results. Directions say for the first 4 treatments to space them 2 weeks apart. (That’s 2 months total.) Then for treatments 5-7, these are spaced once every 4 weeks. (That’s 3 months total.) So overall treatment takes 5 months. — Then it’s recommend to touch up as needed after that.I got this for Christmas, so I just finished my 3rd treatment. #1 Dec. 26, #2 Jan. 9th, and #3 today, Jan. 24th.Results after #2 treatment: My legs look funny because patches of hair are taking to the treatment differently. There are patches of hair that are coming in finer and shorter. There are bald spots on my legs where the hair completely died off after just 2 treatments. Yay! And then about 70% of my leg hair shows no change at all. Growing thick and long, like normal.I’m guessing each hair folical is at a different stage in the growth cycle. So maybe that’s why I’m seeing 3 different stages of hair growth on my legs.I have also been using this on my embarrassing chin hair. I’ve been shaving my chin since high school! (I’m 39.) After 2 treatments so far, there’s been no change in my chin hair. My chin hair is dark and super thick. Ugh. I’ll keep going with the treatments and see how that pans out.I use level 1, and do experience mild pain after using device. Pain goes away within 10 mins, and I do apply lotion after treatment as recommended. (That does help with the pain!)I will come back and update this review.

UPDATEI STARTED USING THIS JULY 2021 ITS FEBRUARY 2022.Result are nothing. After the first 3 months nothing. My legs and armpits are the exact same. I've followed all the direction and still nothing. Don't waste your money. I have been continuously updating because this was expensive and I really wanted it to work. But months later and I'm not happy. Also it's starting to look discolored on the light.... just get it professionally done.So I had my doubts and was totally unsure because of the price... But girl it is worth it!!! I've been using it for 3 months now and notice a difference. I've been using it on my face for that peach fuzz and mustache.Update*Facial hair I notice a difference, armpits not really and legs are little to no difference... hoping this next month I will see results. I've continued to do every other week. I've also upped the power level to 4 and next week will start doing the highest level! Wish me luck!
