Ocean Potion SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion, 3.4oz 2 Pack

This applies very smoothly and absorbs leaving no greasy feeling. The fragrance is light and tolerable even for sensitive noses and skin. It's difficult to find this particular sunscreen in the stores anymore so Amazon gets the business once again.

I first used this in Hawaii, due to it being safe for Coral Reefs (most other brands are killing Coral). It stays on very well in water. I normally use 30, but in Hawaii I used 50 because the Sun is very intense there, and I am normally pale. I did not get burned, and was in the Sun all day, every day. It is almost scentless; the scent is very subtle and faint. Not like the strong coconut scent of the other coral-safe sunscreens.

Spent all of August itching, thinking I had a virus. Daughter was also suffering, called her doctor who recommended stronger antihistamine and call back in a couple weeks. The rash would come and go, and we seemed to have it at the same time. Today it dawned on both of us that it's the new sunscreen. I just checked my old bottle ingredients against the new bottles, and there are so many more ingredients, 22 of which are new! This was the best sunscreen in the world for the ~20 years I have used it, but suddenly this is not the same product and we are completely allergic to it. What a mess! Now what? Why??? Here are the new ingredients: aloe barbadensis leaf juice,ascorbic acid (vitamin C),C28-52 olefin/undecylenic acid,caprylyl glycol,cetearyl alcohol,dimethicone,glycerin,glyceryl stearate,hydrogenated palm glycerides,laminaria saccharina extract,neopentyl glycol diheptanoate,PEG-16 macadamia,PEG-100 stearate,phenethyl benzoate,polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate,potassium cetyl phosphate,pyridoxine HCI (vitamin B6),sodium hydroxide,tapioca starch polymethylsilsesquioxane,thermus thermopillus (deep sea minerals) ferment,trisiloxane,xanthan gum.

We love this product and was glad to find it in a smaller size that we can use for travel (plus, it has a wonderful scent!)

Incredibly smooth on the skin, works great (never burned with this), and smells like the tropics. Love it.

The fragerance was good and uv protection is good.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a friend but found out the hard way that it contains macadamia nuts — which I am allergic to. Got hives everywhere I had applied the sunblock. lesson learned. Will not be using this again.Who the heck puts nuts into sunblock??? Seriously, why???

So sad. I’ve used and loved ocean potion for years but with the new formula it caused me to break out in bumps. I do not have sensitive skin. A friend of mine had the exact same issue.
