Awesome for vacuum sealing. We use them with both fresh meat like boneless pork chops and with sandwich meat before freezing. Limits the amount of water in the bag after thawing.

They are hard to pull apart, not a bad soaker just not like our normal CO2 ones. They are cheaper and I ordered them and they came the next day which was Awesome!

I’m using these Novipax Dri-Loc Absorbent Pads for drying my seeds, and they’ve made the process so much easier when using in conjunction with a wooden cutting board. Previously, I struggled to get a good drying routine because the liquid from the seeds once cleaned would stick to napkins and or paper towels when drying. But now, with these pads, the moisture is trapped under the board, allowing me to create a solid seal without the liquid board itself to both the paper towel and or napkin. This means I can now use the same pad repeatedly, saving on material and cost over time. The package contains a substantial number of pads, which will last me a long time even with frequent use. These absorbent pads come in a large box containing 2000 sheets, each with five pads that can be easily separated thanks to the perforation between them. When I first received the box, I was surprised by its size and the quantity of pads inside. While it’s a great deal for the price and will last for years, finding a place to store the box can be a bit of a challenge but hey… just toss it in the garage and call it a day. I’m still on the fence whether the large storage requirement is a positive or a negative aspect, but the overall value is undeniable. These pads have proven to be incredibly versatile…. I’ve used them for their intended use like thawing meat and fish, and they’ve been excellent at absorbing the moisture, keeping everything neat and dry. The best discovery has been using them as liners in my veggie drawers overlayed with a perforated black mesh. They keep the drawers much cleaner and drier, making cleanup easier and extending the freshness of my produce. As a side note… We just got a Puppy (a standard poodle) and they are potty training… wife thought they we puppy pads for accidents… and guess what… well found ab extra use for the other 1900 pads… when an accident occurred she threw on on top while we went to get the cleaner and bleach and vinegar…. Came back it sopped up a good deal of it… not as fast as I would have liked but hey… that wasn’t what it was meant for… but it still worked… and was a great emergency quick FIX….All in all, the Novipax Dri-Loc Absorbent Pads offer great value for the price and have a variety of uses beyond just vacuum packing. Whether you’re a planter, home butcher, a regular cook, or someone who likes to keep their kitchen tidy, and have a new pup these pads are a worthwhile investment.

These are great for bulk chicken or steaks that you plan to refreeze. I place one in the Vacuum seal bag put the food item on top and hit the button. Now these would not be a good prep item if you plan to use a Suvee to cook right in the bag. From what I can tell these are the same as the grocery stores and butchers use when packaging meat. These also work great for Hunters and processing wild game. I toss a few in the pans and bowls to help keep the blood in check while processing deer.

These absorbent pads were just what I was looking for. I use them primarily when vacuum packing meat. I usually have to contend with the juices being sucked out of the pack when trying to seal it during the vacuuming process. I just throw one or two of these into the package before I start and so far they are working well to block most of the liquid. These pads are on the small side, but several come attached together, separated by a perforation so you can almost size these to your needs by tearing them apart to whatever size you want. Don't be fooled! This is a large case of 2000 pads and probably more than I will ever use.
