Great alternative to install a 2280 NVME your legion go.
Works great. Been almost a year since I installed it on my Legion Go and works like a champ. The install was super easy.

Nice! Actually gets PCIe 4.0 speed!
Works great and has PCIe 4.0 speeds! I had bought a cheaper adapter to start and only got 3.0 speeds around 3500 or so. Returning the cheaper one and got this one and it don't disappoint reading around 6800 or so! Fits great and easy installation you do need to remove the 2 standoffs on the back panel really easy with nail clipers! The cost is almost double but it's worth it for the speed! Also like it come with a heat spreader, screws and a screwdriver. Temps are good too idles at 39c and only got up to 50c under load so far. Haven't had it long hope it will hold up very happy with it.

limited to a 2230 NVMe? Not anymore :)
Used this to mod my Legion Go and move from the small SSD up to a 2TB SSD in a 2280 configuration to better spread out the heat while also increasing capacity. Wins all around, SO worth it! Easiest mod I've done in a while, with massively impactful results :D Zero regrets.

It was a good 2 months.
worked great for 2 months. gave full speed of my ssd. then died after 2 months. it was delivered june 23rd and died august 26th. legion go failed to boot stating no bios device detected. removing the adapter and booting with the drive plugged in directly solved the issue. now i cant close the back of my legion go until i replace this adapter.

Great way to expand Legion Go Storage
So happy this adapter was made. It's easy to install. We went with a slower Crucial SSD and it actually helped the thermals.

Fits pretty effortlessly for my lenovo legion go and works with my 4tb drive. I can't vouch for the speeds but nothing feels throttled and the backside of the lenovo legion go isn't hot or warm to the touch.

As title said, it is working as intended, however you need to do some extra upgrade to help with thermal problem (picture added) on the other side of your SSD, you can use the thermal shielding from the original 2242 SSD if you don't want to waste money. If your back cover cannot be closed, you need to modify two of the support beams(?) with nail clipper (or a file). They show it which support beams(?) on the product picture.

El adaptador funciona perfecto, sin ningún problema de pantallas azules, lo usé con una ssd Predator de 4tb y va muy bien
