J.L. Family Ranch

I originally watched this because of the Late Great James Caan & Jon Voight. I thought it would be interesting to see them together. Not only did I enjoy this one, I also loved the Sequel with Bo Derek. The two of them together were fantastic.

I absolutely love these two movies. I wish they would have made a few more. I watch this movie over amd over. Two old cowboys in a modern world who hold on to tradition and values! A must watch! I bought them for my old 'cowboy' friend I have known for 50 years to enjoy with my best friend, his wife!

Really liked this movie that had all great actors /actresses with the story of two old-time ranchers , the J.L. family patriach, and his daughters, who have to fight an old enemy trying to take their Texas ranch. (although it's not set in Texas, unfortunately, it still looks quite authentic). Lots of "bad guys" and good guys and old family feuds when even the feds get involved, when his old enemy, (James Caan), alleges John (Jon Voight) does not actually own the family's Texas ranch.
