I wanted a tan for an event but was going to get tattooed the next day and needed it to completely wash off and this was PERFECT!!! I did a test area on my leg a few days prior to make sure it would wash off fully and it did! I used a couple pumps of the mousse on each arm and leg to achieve the darkness that I wanted. No funky smell, went super easy, no streaks and washed off no problem!! So glad I found this for my event!

I am an obsessed skincare junkie, esthetician by trade so I put my skin through a lot to keep melasma & discoloration at bay so I keep my face out of the sun. I also use retinol & other products that can strip your skin from color & my body is naturally olive tone/tan so my face always looks crazy with no color compared to my body. I use this oil at least once a week sometimes twice, I put my nighttime creams on make sure my face is still saturated with that & then add a couple drops on each part of face one at a time while rubbing it in before moving it to the next area. You can also add this directly to your moisturizer & do it that way. Just make sure you wash your hands with soap after to remove any traces of the self tanner that may have dropped between your fingers etc. This stuff gives me the best no make up makeup glow the next day, I have been using it for years

I was really hoping this product would have worked out better. I had to use way more of the product to get the desired tan, which is problematic. With having to use way more product, it becomes a little unpredictable. Instead of 5 or so drops in a squirt of lotion, I was having to resort to entire dropper fulls, or on areas no one was going to see, I would just use straight with no lotion. The color was okay, it's just the random dark spots where I didn't realize the lotion/serum wasn't rubbed in very well. I'm thinking with more experimentation I could probably dial in what works for me, but I have better things to do than be a guinea for self tanners. I think I will probably just try and find another product that works without the experimentation process.

I started looking into self tanning drops for spring and summer when I started wearing sunscreen daily. Works just as well, if not better, than higher priced products! 3-4 drops mixed with whatever is closest to the skin works best. I add it to the snail mucin I wear under my moisterizer but results are the same if I mix the same amount of drops with any moisterizer or serum, as long as it is closest to my skin-very important! Let dry for 3-5 minutes and then top with any other product to finish skin care routine. I have also added to body oil and cream, 5-7 drops seems to be the best results for body. May be less as the weather cools and natural tanning fades, but this formula gives my skin a nice sun kissed glow without the sun exposure!

This product doesn't give me the depth of color I'd hoped for like I get from Norvel's Venetian products,, it DOES provide what I consider to be a golden brown color that's 1-2 shades darker than my original skin tone.Pros: it is EASY to apply; rather than mixing in the palm of my hand, I put my moisturizer on top of my leg, add 1/3 dropper of this and mix it as I rub it into my skin - as 3 drops isn't enough to add any color on even 1if my legs! I like the fact this product has NO scent, unlike most tan solutions, which I like, nor have my palms, fingers, insides of my wrists turned dark as so often happens with most solutions. This did transfer 'color' onto one of my tops, which I anticipate with any product line this, and expect it will easily wash out just as as spraytan solutions do - if not, I'll update my review. I don't see the orange tones that are a detractor of many tanning products!Con; It's not enough color for my face, which looks lighter than the rest of my skin when applied and it doesn't matter whether I used twice as many drops - OR solely used drops for that matter as I tried everything possible to get above my lip darker while it seemed to refuse to take 'color', which is a 1st, so I'll stick to my spraytan solution for my face, which isn't a problem as I've a small airbrush made just for!All said, this worked well enough on the rest of my body, gradually adding color more naturally as one expects to see as the 1st rays of sun in summer add color to what I'd call 1-2 shades darker than I was, but nowhere near the depth of color I like and get from Norvel's Venetian products which I love, so I'll use this to see if it extends my spraytan, (hopefully),, OR as needed for a more 'golden' color - as Venetians uses a violet base of brown rather than gold, and as I naturally get darker being outside working in the garden, playing etc.

HATE the thin watery consistency that makes it impossible to pour into hand then tip hand to apply on body. What a frickin mess!! and the smell is bizarre! It has a very mineral-salt smell at first, almost like blood, then overly sweet perfume kicks in. My hubs says I smell like citrus bug spray. So nasty. And it never completely dries, just stays at a sticky, tacky finish. You can NOT wear clothing over this. Put it on, then wear your rattiest swimsuit and go do yardwork for a few hours so you can shower it off. Such a shame on the runny texture, nasty non-drying finish and horrid smell, because it definitely gives a GORGEOUS GOLDEN tan color to skin [no orange tones!] I will use the entire bottle while it's still summer and can be outdoors while it takes effect, but not sure I would buy again. Quality control needs to re-think their formula. If they could get same color and effect in a lotion or gel form and change the perfume chemicals, they'd have a top-level item. But this really needs improvement in some important qualities to be more usable.
