Great for fountain pens!
This notebook is very good for writing with fountain pens, I've tried writing with both dry and very wet consistencies of ink and they don't go through the page, don't smudge and get absorbed by the paper. The paper is very smooth and let's pens glide over it as a result, however I found that using any regular pen that was 0.5mm or less came up as very dry and looked like it was skipping often so don't use regular pens unless they are very inky and are 0.7mm or higher. I always liked sitting and watching my ink shine whilst it dried on the page and this notebook allows me to do so because it takes so much ink into it and doesn't just absorb it all in an instant but still absorbs ink very well. It is held together in 6 different sections where 6 sets of about 30 pages are held together by bits of string, this means there are a LOT of pages however it also makes it inconvenient to hold open or to write on the left side of pages. Overall great notebook and the fake leather finish feels quite genuine and premium, 10/10 recommend.

Chefs kiss 💋
Absolutely brilliant. The paper is just top class and is bound so the pages stay secure but can bend. Perfect for bulletin journaling (just remember that it’s not hard back)

I love this paper
I got this notebook to record fountain pen ink swatches and I can see why people love the Clairefontaine paper. The paper is a nice bright white, is gloriously smooth and shows off shading and sheening properties of ink well without them dominating. There's very little feathering if any occurs, and that only happens with a couple of inks. Although some writing is visible on the reverse of the page (but still much less than almost any other paper I have tried), nothing I have tried has bled through, and that is a really rare property to see in any notebook.I definitely be getting more of these notebooks.

Great book, lovely paper. So easy to write on, and no problem with ink bleeding through.

Excellent Paper, Poor Binding
The paper is the normal excellent Clairefontaine 90gsm fountain pen friendly stuff. The binding isn't great however and is difficult to write on both sides of the page.

Fell apart after a month.
Poor construction that makes it resistant to laying flat, and strains the binding threads, resulting in them breaking and the book falling apart within one month of light use.
