Yes i used them for thick shampoo and conditioner they worked perfectly!

Do you have to push down on dispenser to lock it or can you simply turn it to lock?

It locks with just a turn, not a push.

Will these dispense thick comditioner easily? Are they durable if they fall onto shower floor? Thanks

I use a thick hand soap and it dispense easily. Dropped the bottle and it was fine. Plastic and all.
