What a great buy! So we'll made, Instructions were very easy to follow and understand! Very light, very sturdy, extremely comfortable , I would advise purchasing a cushion to go on the seat for added comfort & a small wheelchair bag for the back. This chair feels great and looks superb! If I could give it 10 stars I would!The chair is extremely easy to fold and put in the car for transport and just as easy to remove from my car and open out. Everything on this chair is so simple to adjust! I'm certain this chair has been designed by someone that is confined to a chair, it's just perfect!Claiming the VAT relief was easy enough, a quick email to Amazon with a screenshot of a completed HM customs VAT relief form and they refunded the VAT within 24hrs to my bank card.The Amazon delivery driver could see the box contained a wheelchair and delivered it to my choice of room inside of my house. This chair is brilliant - absolutely worth the money.FOLDING / SETTING UP - Incredibly easy to set up and fold away for transport, it literally involves clicking two little levers to fold the back down, then pushing the sides together - takes 10 seconds. To set up, push the sides apart and push the handles forward till they click - also takes ten seconds. I always thought wheelchairs were difficult to set up - not this one !SIZE AND WEIGHT - I bought the standard size - perfect for my mother, but would be too small for a large or heavy person (NB there is a larger size). Very sturdy frame. The seat and backrest are fabric (not rigid) but nice and strong, and my mother said the fabric seat was more comfortable than a rigid seat. I am a middle aged woman and I can lift this into the boot of my car without difficulty, but an elderly person might find it too heavy.FOOT RESTS - can be swung completely out of the way to make it easy to get in and out. Can also be removed very easily for transport (just click the little lever)BRAKES - cable brake like a bicycle brake so you can control the chair on slopes. You can also apply brakes in parking mode, if you want to let go of the chair - push the brake levers down firmly (NB they are very stiff to start with, first time I thought I was going to snap the levers but they soon loosened up). The brakes are pretty good - I tested them by parking the chair on a steep slope then getting in and outDELIVERY - the chair was delivered next day, despite being on standard 7 day delivery. I also contacted the seller to ask a question and they were very helpfulI would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to transport chair. Five stars

The item came well packed and with the exception of the footrest fully assembled. It is comfortable to use, though quite compact. Check the width you need and compare it to a chair you use to sit in for reference, we bought the standard width and it is pretty snug. However that can be a bonus when negotiating congested spaces. It folds easy in one action and we could easily fit it into the boot of a 3 series BMW without removing the foot plates. The brakes work, but are pretty rudimentary. The operate like a bicycle brake, but simply drop a metal peg against the outer face of the tyres ( ie: no brake blocks) and can be a bit noisy in operation. Only real gripe in use is that the brakes do not lock on. This makes seating someone into the chair when you are on your own a challenge, as if you assist the person you cannot at the same time hold the chair. Having a wheel locking mechanism would useful.

My elderly mother has suddenly had a decline with her mobility after been fit and well all her life. We decided to buy the chair for hospital visits and to make life a little more comfortable for her. As someone new to mobility struggles, we decided on the standard chair having read all the reviews. It was so easy to assemble. Fits perfectly into the car, even on the back seat of a standard car when collapse. doesn't take up much room indoors. My mum said it is very comfortable. It is sturdy and very easy to push, Brakes on back wheels just push down to lock on the attachment on the handles. What a great chair. I Fully agree with all the positive reviews.

Arrived next day, is light, looks very smart and seems to be well made. It was very well packed on arrival and comes fully assembled with the exception of the foot rests. I have seen reviews saying it does not have a wheel lock, it does have a wheel lock but the brake does need to be pushed down firmly in order to engage it. The foot rests need to be adjusted after fitting. The foot rest height adjusts by sliding in its mounting. It is held in place by an expanding mechanism. The bolt at the base of the foot rest controls the expansion, so it only needs to be loosened and the height can be adjusted. One foot rest on my chair would not move this was due to it sticking in its mount, it was easily freed by turning it in the mount. My only criticism would be that the seat belt is not long enough. Overall, I think this is a very good quality product at a very reasonable price and have no problem in recommending it.

Used every day for last 4 months (mostly indoors). Very sturdy & reliable. Sides do not come off, so can't use with a side slider. But top half of back folds down. This is very useful when needing to do a hair wash etc. Folds easily and easily carried.

This is perfect for our needs. Bought for my Mum to use for hospital visits and future days out. Lightweight, very manoeuvrable, folds down really easily & fits in boot of car with no fuss. Only thing missing is the ability to lock the rear wheels, keeping the chair stationary whilst i help her in and out. But otherwise, great. Many thanks.

Resistente, niente rumore con le ruote, struttura stabile ,solo una parte mancate sarebbe da aggiungere freno fisso nelle ruote in più di quello che ha nella maniglia ,tutto il resto perfetto

Acheté pour une personne âgée devenue grabataire, ce fauteuil est tout simplement excellent.Côté confort, il ravit la personne.-Nous y avons rajouté un coussin anti-escarre.Celle-ci arrive même à se déplacer un peu en fauteuil toute seule, lorsque les freins sont débloqués alors qu'elle ne pourrait plus utiliser un fauteuil à grandes roues du fait d'arthrose aux mains.Côté pratique pour la personne aidante: le fauteuil est à la fois léger, facile à ouvrir et replier et le système de double frein à la poignée (freins classiques et freins de parking en position basse) fonctionne trés bien. Une fois replié, ce fauteuil prend trés peu de place et vu son faible poids, se glisse facielemnt à l'arrière de la voiture (4 portes) sans même avoir besoin de le mettre dans le coffre.++++Par rapport à un fauteuil traditionnel, il passe aussi sans problème des portes de 73 cm de large tout en offrant une large assise intérieure.Enfin, la couleur violet est trés jolie, légèrement irrisée et bien moins tape à l'oeil que sur la fauteuil. Ce fauteuil est une réussite sur tous les plans et on ne l'échangerait pas pour le modèle qu'on avait loué précedemment et qui était supposé être haut de gamme. A noter que la livraison a été rapide et sérieuse.

Proprio quello che cercavo per mia mamma, maneggievole e leggera ma allo stesso tempo robusta e ci sta nella mia vecchia e piccola macchina C3 pluriel tirando giu i sedili perché ha un bagagliaio quasi inesistente, passa anche per una porta di casa di 57 cm, la consiglio vivamente
