Grand Design - Dryness 9-1-1 Natural Moisturizing Face and Body Cream for Sensitive, Damaged, Irritated, and Dry Skin

I purchased this product alongside “The Seaweed Bath Detox + Age Defying Purifying Micro Scrub” to try to remedy this scaly-dry skin that I’ve recently developed. I had oily skin for years, and a few years after moving to Arizona, my face has turned scaly, especially on my forehead. The dermatologist was no help, so I started searching out products on my own. I also have to look for gluten free products since I have Celiac disease, so these two products fit the bill. I apply this moisturizing cream after exfoliating with the scrub at nighttime before bed. The scent is different - not necessarily bad, but something new to get used to. I only use it at night because it has a slightly oily finish. I choose Vanicream during the day under makeup. So far so good, and my skin has been improving.

I literally have a disease which causes me to be severely dehydrated no matter what I do. I get 2 liters of IV fluids every week and take two types of medications that are supposed to help me retain fluid and I still struggle with dehydration. Well, it’s winter time and when I had a friend come to visit I neglected to drink my daily recommended amount of water for one day. Wouldn’t you know it the next day Imdind out I am prone to what I can only guess is eczema! I had a rash covering my entire lower face, not just red but visible scales and everything. I looked like a snake getting ready to shed its skin. I tried my trusty coconut based lotion that has always been my go to. And it did nothing! I even tried to apply it like every hour, and nada. So I went Amazon, researched for hours on the best lotion and it was tough. My requirements were:- all natural, cruelty free, vegetarian- made specifically the face- made specifically dry skin- could not cost $40+- has to get here FASTI found two lotions. This one and second one. I actually bought the second one, but I had a last minute change of heart and so I canceled the order and got this one instead. I used this for ONE DAY. After the first application my face felt immediately better, after three applications in one day my scales were gone and by the second day the redness was gone. Even though my rash is gone I still use it every morning after I shower and let me tell you, my face is the softest I have ever felt it and it doesn’t feel dry all day long. You ‘now the saying as soft as a babies bottom, well I’m not going around feeling babies buts however their cheeks (on the face) are pretty soft too and my face is now at that level.I’m not one to spend a lot of money on a small bottle of anything, but if you need fast help with extreme dry skin do not even hesitate. All in all I highly recommend this product to people in my situation.

I used it for the first time today and I dont know if it works cause my skin still feels so dry also the smell of this isn't good at all but I like that it's feel really cool when you put this on your skin!! Packaging was bad though.Edit****** 03/24/2020 (originally gave it four star)This worked wonders!!! _And I just started using this cream again cause benzoyl peroxide dried my skin out) omg this really Helps my dry skin whenever i mess up my moistur barrier! It doesn't make me break out and I have bad acne problem! When you have dry skin inflamed and you use this product your skin will immediately feel really cool cold feeling! It gets rid of the tighting feeling right away and feels good!

Absolutely amazing product! I smother myself and my kids in this cream. It is so refreshing and soothing! It doesn't sting on chapped skin like some other creams sometimes do & it has such a wonderful light minty smell that adds the perfect touch! I especially love to use this on our skin in the summer after we've spent the day at the pool, our skin takes a beating be out in the sun and in the chlorine. This instantly fixes that dry itchy feeling! 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a heavy duty cream without any irritation! Will definitely be ordering again!

This cream really helps my dry skin. It softens right away but takes some time to completely absorb. That's fine with me since I am staying home and don't have to wear make-up. It smells minty. I will definitely order it again.

I unfortunately got an allergic reaction from this. It also has a kind of peppermint smell that I dont like. Used it two or three times to make sure that it was the one causing the allergy and it sure was. Plan to throw it out.

I've had terribly dry elbows for the past 10 years that absolutely nothing helped, but I've been using Dryness 9-1-1 for just under a month, and the scaliness and itchiness is almost completely gone. I will definitely stock up on this cream, and I'll recommend it to everyone I know.

This is by far the best moisturizer i have gotten off Amazon since most of the lotions are knock off of the original.. goes on smooth, i like the consistency.. im not good at describing scents. But this is now my new night cream.
