This is the coolest nightlight I’ve ever seen. It lights up the entire room with a beautiful nebulous as well as twinkle stars. Very well-made and has different settings. I would highly recommend it.

I bought this for myself. You heard me. I’m 82 and have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Pills are not my thing so I thought I would try this galaxy projector, never expecting the results I’ve gotten. But the price was right. Years ago, I tried a couple of less sophisticated devices that didn’t help. They both lacked the many important features that this little beauty has: a remote control, two power off settings, speed and brightness control, a gorgeous wide-coverage display, a very small footprint; and a USB connector. When I’m ready to sleep, I turn it on with the easy to use remote control, set the timer to 45 minutes, change the nebula to the softest green, and set the star and nebula speeds to the slowest settings. I lie back and watch. I have never seen it actually turn off because within 10 to 15 minutes. I am sound asleep and miraculously stay asleep (that part has never happened before). I’ve thought a lot about why this little inexpensive device has had such a powerful effect on my decades-long sleep disruptions, and have come up with a few theories: the calming green colors, the soothing slow motion, and the fact that I’m not going from bright light to being plunged into total darkness. I’m not a sleep expert, but I know how refreshed I feel in the morning. Are you looking for a great gift for an insomniac?

This was our second time purchasing the astronaut. Our first one was amazing and looked fantastic all the time! Everyone comments on it. One day it just stopped working. They're inexpensive enough, so we bought the same one. We didn't even take it out of the box until after the return period, as we use it in our houseboat in a different state. We tried to set it up last time we were there which is as simple as plugging it in, and NOTHING!! We tried lots of troubleshooting but no luck. We are extremely disappointed. It is so very cool when it works, absolutely spectacular!! I will include some photos of our old one when it worked. Next time we will open it immediately when it comes and ensure it works!!

I got this for my 5-year-old daughter’s room after she started feeling more anxious at night, and it has been a great upgrade from the little stuffed star bear she used as a toddler. Design & Features - The astronaut design is adorable and much more “grown-up” than her old nightlight, which she loves. The remote makes it easy to switch between colors and effects without having to get up. Lighting & Effects - The light is very bright — it adjusts between “pretty bright” and “very bright.” For me, I’d need a sleep mask if I were trying to sleep with it on. But for my daughter, the brightness makes the room feel magical rather than scary. The moving lights and star patterns fill the entire room, which is exactly what I hoped for. Usefulness - This has quickly become part of her nightly routine, and it really helps her feel calmer at bedtime. The variety of colors and motion keeps it interesting, so it doesn’t feel repetitive. Verdict - If you’re looking for a nightlight that’s more exciting than the usual lamp, this is a great choice. It’s bright, fun, and does exactly what it promises — though keep in mind adults may find it too intense for sleeping.

Dropped one star cause it can't be perfect :) Really though, glad I got this on a prime deal. I like that the star projector is somewhat a random pattern and that there are different sized stars shown. The nebula projection is also very cool in that you can control the speed of rotation or not at all..also a lot of color combo's to choose from. The one star off could be for the stars being stationary..would be nice it those also rotated slowly to mimic the night sky. A really big plus though is that you can set this guy off to the side and adjust the aim of the projector, so it doesn't need to be directly in the middle of the room. You can also power it off of a battery bank making it possible to place it just about anywhere.

I never write project reviews. It’s 3am, my 6 yr old son just ripped me out of a REM cycle with a swift body slam to the chest. After I got my bearings, I led him back to his bed, tucked him in and rubbed his back for a few minutes until he fell back asleep. I lay in his bed staring up at the stars thinking “wow, I can’t believe this still works”. He’s had the space man on his bedside table for about a year and a half and it baffles me that it is still functioning. My house has been a war zone for the better part of a decade. My “kids” more closely resemble feral dinosaurs than human children. Ceilings, walls, floors; all damaged..chipped, or constantly scuffed and destroyed. Curtains repeatedly ripped from the walls. Clothing quickly worn through or stained to the point no amount of OxiClean or Shout can save the fabric. The majority of toys (basically anything plastic) have an approximate 24-36 hr lifespan. You get the idea. So again, the fact that this space man is still in one piece BAFFLES me. The remote is obviously long gone but you can still manually change the light features on the back of the space suit. The moon plate that the space man stands on is removable. I super glued those together almost immediately or that would have been long gone as well. These stars are on practically every night and usually left on throughout most days (daily reminders to turn off his space man in the morning go ignored) and it’s still going strong. Bang for your buck, excellent product. Wishing this spaceman the best of luck in the year 2026 🙏

This is amazing! One of the most spectacular projector ever! It’s not just good it’s AMAZING! I love how it’s so realistic, smooth and pretty things ever! It has movement and honestly one of the best things I’ve ever purchased in Amazon. I’d definitely recommend this. And I would purchase this a million times if I could!
